DescriptionIf you’re ready to lead and grow in the Quality Management space, join Nike’s Technology Quality Management (QM) Center of Excellence (COE) organization. We are a fast paced team always moving forward to ensure we deliver processes and solutions to meet our ever-changing customer needs. We deliver high quality software releases to the Enterprise, with a constant innovation lens to utilize automation for speed and accuracy on time and quicker than ever before. Working in our organization is rewarding and challenging. As a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer in the QM COE, your role on the team will include driving processes that ensure we deliver quality software releases to our customers. You will work with teammates from all areas of Technology, helping coordinate projects that span multiple solution areas. You will own the administration of Quality Management tools and its related reporting, creating visibility at all levels of the organization. QualificationsKey Responsibilities:ProcessProvides support for products as they complete their test cycles, including assisting in defect triage or escalation.
Manages aspects of the QA environments, including managing the outage approval process for systems that support multiple products.
Provides day-to-day support for QualityCenter project administration (training on Nike specific implementation to be provided)
Reviews and provides feedback on QM processes. Analyzes feedback from team members and makes recommendations for process improvements.
Stays technically current in the software technologies used within quality assurance and development through conferences, classes, study groups, self study, and on the job assignments. Assesses and adopts relevant findings and communicates to the team.
QM Analysis and ReportingHelps product teams develop metrics and supporting reporting for measuring their progress against quality goals. May also provide similar reporting at the release level, when possible.
Supports the internal and external auditors in locating required information about product/project test practices within our organization.
Conducts cost-benefit analysis that drives or influences organizational decisions impacting quality assurance.
Reviews internal data and systems to ensure teams are staying compliant and following those best practices that have long-term impacts on teams.
Teamwork & CommunicationAttends meetings of cross-functional teams and provides input and guidance relative to complex quality assurance issues throughout the project development lifecycle.
Raises issues, offer options, make project specific recommendations directly with key stakeholders
Helps escalate risks and propose mitigation strategies.
Represents the QM COE at organization-wide planning events, business-facing workshops and at internal conferences.
