DescriptionAs Advanced Manufacturing’s Footwear Developer II, you will be responsible for partnering with our New Manufacturing Partners and Nike’s Global Footwear Teams to manage a unique product creation process, drive alignment to category expectations, product readiness, and ensure delivery of World Class Product to the consumer. You will act as a key resource to facilitate cross functional integration and collaboration, process training and implementation, and product transition from the Global Footwear Categories and NIKE’s Asia Manufacturing Partners to our New Manufacturing Partners. You'll plan and execute a product creation process rooted in NIKE’s critical dates and performance/profitability goals, as well as addressing challenges and creating plans to ensure delivery of proven and tested product. You will actively engage in shaping and executing both the near term plan and the long term vision for Product Creation with our New Manufacturing Partners. Working across the Advanced Manufacturing organization, the Footwear Categories, and our Manufacturing Partners you will work to define product quality expectations and ensure product quality throughout the product creation process, commercialization, and ultimately into production. You'll manage sampling and prototyping needs and facilitate communication and reporting around each gate. You'll actively participate in meetings with Category Product Creation teams as well as frequent visits and meetings with Product Creation Centers and Manufacturing facilities, during all phases of the development process, influencing and executing the decision making process that leads to on-time sample delivery and product confirmation. You'll ensure manufacturability of product concepts and utilize your footwear knowledge and tools to effectively and appropriately achieve project objectives. You'll collaborate with your Category counterparts and apply fundamental understanding of category best practices to identify product and testing requirements and assure product performance by applying product integrity through performance testing. In addition, you'll engage appropriately in all phases of the product creation process to drive on time completion, successful transition into commercialization, and manufacturing quality. You will ensure that all Category requirements/goals have been achieved, the product has been proven and tested, and the best possible product is manufactured and delivered. While the Advanced Manufacturing team will be your primary organization, success will require you to be an active member of the Global Footwear Product Creation community and to work regularly with many other organizations and functions. In collaboration with the Development Director you will need to proactively engage across Nike’s entire Footwear product creation, production planning, and product execution offense. Additionally, you will partner closely and regularly with the product creation and manufacturing teams at our New Manufacturing Partners.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Industrial Design, Engineering or a related field, OR 2 additional years' relevant work experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree
5+ years' experience in product creation (e.g., development, product engineering, pricing, production, marketing, product creation training and development and/or R&D services) 
Strong verbal and written communication skills 
Demonstrated development and project management skills 
Clear understanding and solid working knowledge of the tools that support the product creation process in the areas of upper patterns, bottom tooling and manufacturing 
Proven influencing skills and ability to work cooperatively across multiple functions. 
Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
Ability to deal with ambiguity in a very dynamic environment
Ability to exercise high degree of professionalism
