DescriptionAs the Nike Sports Research Lab Engineering and Facilities Manager, you'll be responsible for process engineering, facilities development and maintenance, process improvement and automation, management of capital projects, and compliance with regulatory standards. This position leads a team of direct reports; an engineer and lab technician. As a manager you are responsible for their performance and development. Specific Duties, Activities, and Responsibilities:Develop, implement, and manage a comprehensive engineering, maintenance and facility strategy for the Nike Sport Research Lab.
Provide guidance and direction on projects involving alterations to facilities, tools, equipment, and support systems. Ensure clarity and alignment with NSRL goals and priorities.
Develop and regularly update strategic capital improvement plan and departmental budget. 
Partner with internal and external cross disciplinary technical teams. 
Organize and manage assigned projects, making detailed plans that work toward the fulfillment of objectives. Communicate with stakeholders and ensure satisfaction. Manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Maintain expert level equipment knowledge and maintain good working relationships with established vendors
Provide leadership and guidance to Engineering team and Technicians, and ensure the team has clear priorities and goals that enable high performance
Recommend and implement new policies and procedures. 
Manage existing technical contractual relationships and select external contractors as needed.
Conduct RFP (Request for Proposals) or RFI (Request for Information) on services and products .
Coordinate planned maintenance and reactive repairs, acting as liaison between team members and various vendors and technicians (internal/external).
QualificationsEducation:A Bachelor or Master's degree in engineering or sports science preferred.
Experience:Minimum 6 years’ experience in facility management, engineering management or similar, preferably in a sports performance or research environment. 
Minimum 5 or more years’ experience leading others, interfacing and influencing at all levels of an organization.
