DescriptionAs a Senior Director of Data and Analytics Platforms, you will be part of a highly visible, strategic team focused on aligning strategic objectives with tactical demands. The successful candidate will: ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS•Leads Data & Analytics Platforms development and sustainment; including Data Lake, Analytics, Data Quality, Master Data Management, Machine Learning platforms and more.•Works closely with Business and Technology executives to develop platforms vision, strategy and execution plans that are aligned with business analytics outcomes.•Responsible for financial management of Data & Analytics Platform portfolio.•Ensures team is leveraging Nike’s Technology delivery methodology to develop platform products.•Stays current with industry trends and leads development of key data/analytics innovation platforms.•Partners with Reference Architecture to ensure architectural consistency across all platforms.•Accountable for growing & developing Enterprise Platform technology by attracting top industry talent.•Develops Data & Analytics Platforms annual operating plans.•Develops and manages team metrics.•Drives divestiture for legacy platforms strategy as a part of the drive for next-generation Data & Analytics.•Contributes to cross-team Enterprise Platforms domain-mapping and strategy.•Ensures the technical team aligns with architectural standards, documentation and operational strategy alongside peers.Qualifications•A Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field. MBA preferred.•10+ years’ experience leading and managing large-scale teams within Data & Analytics areas•Proven track record in developing D&A Product strategy and vision•Proven experience leading teams in organic software solution development.•Experience leveraging public cloud services for Data & Analytics solutions.•Extensive background in working with business partners in the areas of Data & Analytics•Proven track record of being results orientated with demonstrated ability to achieve aggressive goals.•Proven presentation and facilitation skills.•Proven experience working in an Agile Development environment.•Must excel working in team-oriented roles that rely on ability to collaborate with others.•Excellent written and oral communications skills•Self-directed and comfortable working in ambiguous environments•Experience working in a highly matrixed organization•Demonstration of strong influencing skills NIKE, Inc. is a growth company that looks for team members to grow with it.
