DescriptionAs the Global Consumer Knowledge Program Manager you will enable Consumer Knowledge Operating Excellence by facilitating our internal work and management processes, driving efficiencies and enabling the delivery of our data/insights solutions to our stakeholders. You will work in support of Strategic Projects for Global Consumer Knowledge, Global Brand Marketing Operations and Nike Direct to drive project management excellence, portfolio management, planning, and cross-functional communication. You will also leverage strong process and project management expertise to deliver against the changing needs / requests of the Global Consumer Knowledge function and its internal and external partners.Working with Consumer Knowledge & Member Services teammates and our internal and external stakeholders you will build and leverage an in-depth understanding of Consumer Knowledge including our vision, go to market strategies, deliverables and execution; you will leverage your program management skills and communication abilities to fully support the efficient and effective operations of our function. You will manage the overall portfolio process including program planning, status checkpoints, tools, tracking, and portfolio reporting. You will provide visibility to the overall portfolio status, elevate potential resource risks and drive ongoing optimization to scale and sustain the continued delivery of premium solutions as Consumer Knowledge grows and evolves. You will partner with GCK planning, and Finance to report on our business investments and impact across our portfolio and stakeholders. You will be the consummate team player, proactively looking to support and engage in the needs of the business as a trusted partner. You will be able to communicate and present concepts and materials in a succinct manner and at the appropriate level. You will be challenged, daily and hourly, to shift gears and respond accordingly; you will be directed to think ahead, to plan, and to multi-task. Minimum of 5 years' business experience (project management, operations, marketing, communications, content management, budget management)
Strong process and project/initiative management knowledge
Strong team, cross business / cross functional partnership skills
Must be results oriented and make constant progress towards goals
Must be able to understand business issues, find creative ways to solve problems, and make sound decisions that benefit Nike
Must have great communication skills, including the ability to elicit information, actively listen, dialogue freely, verbalize ideas effectively, negotiate tense situations successfully, and manage and resolve conflict
Must have ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a changing environment
Previous experience and knowledge of how to work within a matrix environment a plus
Understanding of brand management and how various mediums support the Nike brand is preferred
