DescriptionAs our Global Supply Planning Manager you will lead a Category and Supplier Supply Planning team in support of Nike’s Global Apparel business. You will apply supply chain planning expertise and methodologies to drive planning accuracy, efficient inventory, and optimal capacity utilization across the supply network. You will be responsible to ensure strategic objectives are achieved for operational and tactical execution in support of marketplace demand. You will work across the organization to influence and create innovative and sustainable supply and demand solutions leveraging supply chain planning expertise, methodologies and tools to continuously evolve planning capabilities.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Business, Management or equivalent area of relevance
2 years' additional experience in lieu of a degree
5 plus years Planning related experience (Production/Sourcing/Demand/Inventory/Supply/retail planning preferred)
2 year's managerial experience preferred
Ability to speak and influence in front of a large audience and senior management
Understanding of integrated supply chain planning processes, methodologies and timelines
Have strong organizational, prioritization and analytical skills and be adept at using MS Office tools (excel, powerpoint in particular)
Must be able to understand complex business issues, find creative ways to solve problems and make sound decisions that benefit Nike
Requires a strong understanding of Nike's matrix and the ability to coordinate and assimilate directives from internal and external partners
Must be able to develop and maintain fair and honest relationships at all levels, both internally and externally
Must have exceptional communication skills, including the abilities to elicit information, actively listen, dialogue freely, verbalize ideas effectively, negotiate tense situations successfully, communicate with different cultures and manage and resolve conflict
Must be able to communicate effectively with clear, concise written messages through memos, e-mails and reports
Flexible schedule to work with international partners
Effective meeting facilitation and influencing skills to gain stakeholder alignment
Ability to travel up to 10-15% of the time (US and Global)
