DescriptionJoin our Demand and Supply Management (DSM) team as a LOCATION PLANNER for North America Sales Planning, you'll collaborate with key stakeholders across the Nike Integrated Account Team and Dick’s Sporting Goods Planning Team to develop, measure, and manage location level plans for top Brick & Mortar Doors and Digital Channel across the BU / Category / Gender and Style level.Pre-seasonDrive Tier recommendations through top level analysis
Develop top door- door level and digital assortment plans by BU / Category / Gender and Style, and align with top level Retail plans in support of key initiatives, region performance (hot/cold, marketplace, etc), and business drivers supporting Strategic Business Plan
Develop franchise plans for locations in partnership with Retail Planning counterparts
Develop Key Item (AA) Ladder plans for locations in partnership with Retail Planning counterparts
Ensure the Retail Plan & KPI’s are aligned against the top level seasonal wholesale plan
Drive Collaboration and include input from key stakeholders including the Account, Sales, Planning, Category, and Merchandising to gain agreement on financial plans
Provide insight at key gates to internal Nike and external account counterparts
In-seasonDevelop and provide weekly, monthly, and seasonal reporting to key stakeholders
Provide actionable risk / opportunity recommendations to internal and external teams, driven at the location level
Lead inventory balance recommendations driven by door / region trend analysis, on fixed inventory position
Monthly Open to Buy Process for Digital and Top Doors: Create & manage monthly (rolling 12 months) OTB forecast (sales, inventory, margin, turn) against door level plan dimensions of category, gender, business unit for top locations, influence Retail Planning team Open to Buy
Post-seasonSeasonal digital and top door level teardown by BU / Category / Gender and Style, provide insight into top level Retail Planning Teardowns
Measure and report wins to door level and digital assortment plans
Teardown process, reporting and role responsibilities, evolve
QualificationsRequired:Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Sales, Fashion, Marketing or a related discipline
5+ years' experience in Planning, Allocation within a Vertical Retail environment
Comprehensive understanding of retail math
Experience in Location level planning
Experience in gross margin profitability planning
Ability to create and analyze monthly reports, style and sku level plans, track promotional calendar/events and pre-meeting prep
Strong and demonstrated ability to effectively communicate and influence others
Ability to interpret financial sales data to make decisions and recommendations that impact the business
Advanced knowledge of MS office applications; proficiency in Excel including creating spreadsheets, complex formulas, pivot tables, etc.
Ability to work in a matrix environment with multiple business functions
Strong team player and ability to work with the cross functional partners and senior management on all aspects of the business
Preferred:Experience in developing an understanding of customers, competitors and retail trends; knowledge of sports apparel and footwear market preferred
Experience with planning software/tools and merchandise management systems is preferred
