DescriptionBecome part of a high-performance agile, Engineering team based in Beaverton OR, working on building and maintaining the Platform of services that power all the Nike Digital experiences. We are looking for a Web Front End Developer to design and build highly responsive user interfaces, both for Nike consumers and internal use. Our Platform is mostly composed of cloud-hosted, HTTP REST micro-services so experience integrating with these types of services is required. The candidate should have high proficiency in HTML, CSS, React, JavaScript, browser compatibility and related web frameworks. Experience with web authentication methods is also required. Must be proficient with version control software like SVN or GIT. Must have experience working on Unix/Linux operating systems. This position is expected to be able to work with stakeholders across the organization to gather and refine requirements and report progress accurately. Will be responsible for taking these requirements and implementing working code that meets all Nike standards for quality, observability, security and maintainability. Experience with Cloud development and Continuous Integration tools is desired but not required. Interest and experience in Java backend development is not required but it would be a big plus.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other relevant field
Relevant professional experience in lieu of a degree
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Knowledgeable with version control systems (Git) and issue tracking tools (JIRA)
Experience with CD/CI and related tools (Jenkins, TeamCity, etc.)
A track record of solving problems and getting things done in a fast-paced, ever-evolving environment
Ability to work in a collaborative environment that rewards experiments, initiative, curiosity, and mentoring
