Description• The nature of the work is focused on the company’s computer technology tools used to create, store, exchange, and use all forms of information. • Facilitates or performs application support, problem solving, and issue resolution with internal and external resources. • Contributes and reviews recommendations for technical solutions. • Resolves issues and determines options for issue resolution and risk mitigation. • Provides technical estimates for project budget input to Senior/Project Manager. • Meets architecture, governance, security, and global process standards for system changes and deployments. • Takes part in compliance issue identification and remediation. • Collaborates with other teams on integration needs/design. • Contributes to database design and creates critical-path, high-risk, advanced technical designs. • Contributes to proof of concept efforts and reviews technical designs. • Contributes to proof of concept efforts and reviews results. • Adheres to Nike and department architectural direction and ensure consistent technical approach within department. • Recommends appropriate engineering tools. • Manages and enforces performance thresholds and standards. • Reviews and approves performance test results, recommendations, and tuning results. • Responsible for the creation of test plans, test execution, and validation of test results.
QualificationsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other relevant field
Relevant professional experience in lieu of a degree
Excellent written and oral communication skills to both technical and non-technical audiences
Good working knowledge of basic computer science data structures and algorithms
