The SEC team will drive end-to-end integration across hundreds of business processes, leveraging a flexible and scalable Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system and best-in-class technology solutions that support the retail experience of the future. As our Director of Reporting and Analytics SEC, you will report to the SEC Data and Analytics Leader and will lead the reporting and analytics strategies for SEC including definition, alignment, and oversight on the SEC program and broader enterprise strategies. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS • Lead the alignment of the SEC program, the business analytics teams, and Nike’s enterprise technology teams on activities, roles, and responsibilities to define requirements, prioritize delivery, and resolve conflicts. • Lead the SEC program in developing and executing its Business Intelligence and Analytics strategy, with the goal of providing quality data and information to drive positive financial and qualitative outcomes • Lead matrixed resources to document program’s requirements “definition of done” related to architecture, standards, methods and practices needed to deliver meaningful analytics within the Program and partner with the Nike enterprise platform team to align their implementation timeline with the program’s deliverables. • Act as the primary point of contact to inform the Master Data and Data Governance teams to on reporting and analytic use cases to drive strong data governance practices and global alignment • Prioritize work with analytics engineers, data management/governance leads, solution architects and visualization experts to deliver innovative and scalable technology solutions and services • Maintain and coordinate reporting and analytics SEC portfolio management across other functional analytics teams at Nike and between global and geo development teams that are impacted by the program • Partner with Transformational Change Office (TCO) to drive execution of transition and transformational plans as well as stakeholder education • Inform and work with SEC PMO on risks and mitigation plans to manage project execution • Translate technical issues into business impacts to support the business decision making process • Establish a regular cadence of updates to key stakeholders and communicate key decisions and corresponding impacts across teams to ensure integrated plans and solutions are delivered • Assess and identify current state inefficiencies in existing analytics process and propose / implement solutions that drive incremental productivity COMPETENCIES • Demonstrated ability to develop deep understanding of business drivers and independently, creatively apply analytics capabilities against the highest priorities • Comfortable transitioning between business and technology details for reporting and analytics • Exceptionally strong presentation skills, and excellent written and verbal communication skills, including results packaging and development of management presentations • Strong project management capabilities to manage multiple project epics and complexity; propensity for thinking through • Strong skills in team leadership and building positive business partner relationships • Strong networking skills and ability to work across multiple organizations to accomplish diverse goals. • Demonstrated ability to influence critical business outcomes in a matrix based, global environment • Excellent verbal and written communication and collaboration skills to effectively communicate with both business and technical IT teams • Experience, interest, and adaptability to working in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment QualificationsMINIMUM REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS • 10+ years' professional experience in technology and/or business-related work; including business systems analysis, data engineering, data science, technology consulting, information architecture, solution design, and/or deployment of enterprise applications • 4+ years hands on experience working with business leaders at an executive level in a technology capacity • 2+ years experience leading cross-functional matrixed resources to accomplish common objectives NIKE, Inc. is a growth company that looks for team members to grow with it.
