DescriptionNIKE’s Global Digital x Connected Operations team is responsible for enabling the best Nike consumer experience by getting the right product, to the right place, at the right time in a reliable, fast and efficient way. As a Global Digital x Connected Operations Manager, you will hep to deliver capabilities that improve e-commerce supply chain processes and enhance the Nike digital consumer experience across the globe. In order to achieve this, you will partner with business commerce stakeholders, technology teams, and various supply chain functions (fulfillment, transportation, logistics, marketplace operations, etc.) globally and in the geographies to support a portfolio of initiatives. As such, you must be a team player able to comfortably navigate a matrix work environment and excel as a self-directed individual. You'll be responsible for assessing global supply chain performance, monitoring the quality of fulfillment service KPI’s, cost and inventory performance. You will drive analytics projects, such as A/B testing, to determine finanaical benefits/costs associated with various supply chain capabilities. You will help create and drive the digital supply chain framework around fulfillment, transportation and the future of digital supply chain strategy. You will help create a multi-year roadmap that will ensure that supply chain capabilities are built in accordance to commercial business priorities and in a way which meets the service levels that our consumers expect from Nike.
Example actions of day-to-day work:
Lead cross-functional analysis of current operational processes and identify and solve for capabilities needed in order to meet future state service levels and maintain a healthy digital business.
Utilize analytics and root cause analysis to identify key opportunities within the digital fulfillment space
Develop/maintain a detailed project plan (scope, resources, timeline, quality, and risk) for operational projects and successfully deliver key projects in collaboration with cross functional teams and geographies.
Benchmark e-commerce businesses, tools & solutions that promote effective operational alignment and accurate business data.
Support the Global Digital Business, Global Operations & Logistics and Geography teams in operational readiness, project design, and process improvement deployment.
Develop/maintain business associated reports and dashboard templates, identify processes, and recommend ownership to drive standardization of operational data across Geographies.
QualificationsBachelors or advanced degree in supply chain, business, technology or related discipline plus 4 years relevant work experience
In lieu of degree, an additional 2 years of work experience is eligible
Progressive experience managing Digital/ e-commerce Supply Chain Operations or closely related field
Experience creating and driving retail/ e-commerce supply chain strategy
Cross-functional project management experience
Self-motivation to deliver results
Ability to lead projects with general management instinct
Proven ability to handle ambiguity in a fast-paced, constantly evolving work environment
Strong presentation skills, and excellent written and verbal communication skills, including development and delivery of presentations to senior level management required
Experience in aligning cross-cultural, cross-functional and virtual teams
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Experience querying and manipulating data with SQL
Experience conducting analysis with R/Python
Versed in communicating and presenting data-based recommendations
