DescriptionAs an integral part of the Global ND COE Transition Management team, the Transition Manager will work across the Global Fulfillment groups and functions to develop and execute a holistic and comprehensive transition management strategy, work plan and curriculum to support leaders from all Geo’s, Nike Tech, and project teams as strategic capabilities are deployed to improve Nike’s supply chain.
This person will focus on the people side of change, including changes to business processes, systems and technology, job roles and organization structures. Their primary responsibility will be creating and implementing change management strategies and plans that maximize employee adoption and usage and minimize resistance. The Transition Manager will work to drive faster adoption, higher ultimate utilization of and proficiency with the changes that impact employees. These improvements will increase benefit realization, value creation, ROI and the achievement of results and outcomes. Essential Job Functions:
Develop and execute a holistic and comprehensive transition management strategy to enable successful program execution, adoption, and sustainability
Demonstrate expertise in successfully managing large, complex change initiatives with multiple and competing priorities
Expert-level stakeholder engagement, assessment, and alignment
Proven track record of “Making Change stick”, and driving adoption through business benefit realization
Coordinate program-wide transition management efforts and work stream to achieve milestones, objectives, and deliverables.
Proven ability to influence others, at multiple levels of the organization, from entry-level employees to executives
Develop the x-functional and x-geo relationships required to ensure effective and efficient process and program execution within distribution centers.
Demonstrated experience working successfully in a highly matrixed work environment
Proven presentation and facilitation skills, including high-profile, executive communications
Update and maintain overall transition management documentation
QualificationsA Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Organizational Development or related disciplines. A Master’s degree in a related field preferred, but not required
Minimum of 8 years of specific experience working with Transformational Change Management theory and methodologies within global project delivery
Experience driving Organizational Change in Warehouse Management Systems or large technology implementation
Experience acting as an internal consultant on change and transition management strategy/deliverables for regional or global strategic change initiatives including engagement, communications, behavior change, readiness and training.
Proven ability to navigate and get things done within a large and complex organization
Proven ability to influence others, at multiple levels of the organization, from entry-level employees to executives
Proven presentation and facilitation skills, including high-profile, executive communications
Demonstrated experience working in team-oriented roles that rely on ability to collaborate with others
Demonstrated experience working successfully in a highly matrixed work environment
