DescriptionIn this role you will be responsible for driving operational excellence throughout the Product Creation process by being involved in setting and leading the strategy of each Category. You will enable product excellence by enhancing the analytical capabilities of the division. You will work directly with the Divisional Vice President of Jordan Footwear and will sit on the Footwear leadership team.You will drive key initiatives from Global Footwear into the Categories. This role will also be responsible for enabling and driving a Cross-Category Footwear offense, representing category in key cross-FW investment and product assortment decisions.In this role you will be equal parts strategic, analytical and tactical, with the ability to both set strategic vision, enable the execution of this vision through detailed process and track progress against this vision.ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:DRIVE OPERATIONAL & PROCESS EXCELLENCE:Work with central enabling functions (FW Operations, FW Analytics, FW Strategy) to receive tools, processes, templates to drive best practices into each category within the division through awareness, training and accountability.
Lead integration of new initiatives (e.g., PGP Phase II, PCX, React Tracks) into categories/functions
Drive FW product creation process excellence and accountability throughout the Gameplan through process excellence, improved metrics and transparency.
Facilitate cross-functional, end-to-end alignment for key processes and product checkpoints (Line Planning, Gameplan, etc).
PLANNING EXCELLENCE:Provide strategic and analytical support for DVP and CFLs, enabling leadership to make well-informed decisions that align to product strategy and goals
Keep finger on the pulse of the Triad – monitor and evolve operating KPIs including Triad capacity, etc.
Act as bridge between marketplace intelligence and product team. Leverage existing capabilities while also helping to develop marketplace analytical muscle.
Provide analytical support and assist in development of overall FW strategy
ENABLE THE X-CATEGORY FW OFFENSEDrive cross-FW operational alignment and governance to run the Cross-category FW offense
Represent category in key cross-FW investment and product assortment decisions (factory investments, cross-category projects, etc)
Drive FW product strategy through the category, and assist DVP in creating and driving Category’s CSR plan
QualificationsBachelors’ degree in related field
Minimum 8 years relevant work experience
2 additional years of experience in lieu of a degree
Deep process and operational experience, including familiarity with Product Gameplan and the end-to-end product creation process
Strategy Development & Planning experience
Finance experience and familiarity with financial modeling in excel a plus
Collaborative & strong communication skillset, including strong story-telling skills including PowerPoint and/or Keynote presentations
Ability to lead virtual teams, manage complex projects and balance multiple workstreams
Self-directed and comfortable working in ambiguous environments
Passionate about problem solving
Change agent/change management skillset
Strong cross team collaboration experience
Ability to travel up to 5% of the time
