DescriptionDo you have a passion for uncovering insights that inform and inspire action? Do you have a background in consumer insights and market research? If so, we might have the perfect opportunity for you. Nike is seeking a highly skilled and passionate Manager of Insights and Sensing. This is an exceptional opportunity to join the Nike team and help our teams better understand consumers and put their needs at the center of all that we do at Nike. In this role, you’ll work with consumers and collaborate with our marketing, strategy, product, and analytics teams to uncover insights that lead to action. We’re looking for someone who has experience with a variety of consumer insights and research methods and demonstrated experience uncovering actionable insights. You will have a significant impact on our business executing and training the organization on best practices within consumer insights. Additionally, you will work collaboratively with city insights and marketing leads, and leadership across Nike to help the vision and execution for increasing our understanding of Nike’s consumers. We’re looking for a mindful and vocal advocate with excellent communication skills. The candidate who will find the most success in this role will have a deep knowledge of different research methodologies, and the ability to introduce new approaches when appropriate.Responsibilities:Own the Consumer Insights and Sensing research roadmap – fielding requests, identifying and collaborating on briefs and prioritizing business questions to explore through research
Partner with marketing, strategy, analytics, product, and design teams to strengthen the consumer insights process and deliverables, applying a variety of qualitative and quantitative methods to discover opportunity, explore positioning territories, and collect feedback to create and execute strategies
Lead qualitative agencies as well as moderate and facilitate interviews with consumers as needed
Lead synthesis of qualitative and quantitative findings and deliver compelling storytelling to inform, influence and shape strategy 
Champion consumer insights best practices including methods and measurement throughout the organization
Develop a strong understanding of our consumers, business objectives, and company mission
QualificationsDemonstrated ability to plan, lead, execute and deliver compelling and actionable consumer insights in an exciting work environment, balancing both speed and rigor 
Authority in uncovering consumer needs through a variety of field methods
Excellence in moderating and facilitating individual and/or group interviews 
Ability to synthesize findings that translate into actionable insight 
Proven experience developing deep insights and customer advocacy with marketing teams
Exceptional communication, facilitation and presentation skills. Gifted storyteller, adept at crafting deliverables (presentations, frameworks, video and infographics) that persuade, influence and inspire multi-disciplinary teams
Command of consumer insights and research principles, design methodologies and collaborative problem solving
Inclusive eam leader who thrives as an in-demand SME
Experience conducting and executing research globally, including in non-English marketplaces
Expertise in leading research agencies 
10+ years with quantitative and qualitative research methodologies in a multi-disciplinary environment
BS in Business, Marketing, Psychology, or similar
