The Nike, Inc. Supply Chain team is the engine that propels product around the world. To ensure this complex job goes off without a hitch, Supply Chain teams work with a network of more than 50 distribution centers, thousands of accountants, and more than 100,000 retail stores worldwide — making the impossible happen every single day.
DescriptionAccountable for on-time performance and meeting customer expectations for all inbound deliveries, including direct-to-customers, to Nike distribution centers and to NIKE stores.
Responsible for performance and management of 3rd party logistics providers, who provide incremental services including outbound transportation in support of our customers’ expectations
Interacts with our Market Place Operations team, to meet and execute against wholesale customer requirements
Participate in customer top-top meetings, discussing performance and operational enhancements to increase speed and decrease transportation expenses
Builds cross-functional relationships both internally and externally
Works closely with International Transportation Vendor Management Team, ensuring timely product flow from origin to customer destination
Responsible for the development of inbound transportation strategy, optimizing product flow as well as building capabilities to deliver on our customer promise
Provides leadership for managers, supervisors and/or professional staff
Identifies logistics process improvements opportunities through strategic thinking
Successful candidate will have an in-depth knowledge of global supply chain management spanning from factory to customer 
Role will be based in Oregon however, both domestic and international travel will be required
Ability to gather carefully selected data and sources to make decisions, critical thinking
Ability to develop and build relationships with a track record of managing multiple stakeholders, driving change and embedding robust processes.
Applies business and management expertise to achieve financial and operational objectives within or across disciplines or departments
QualificationsBachelor’s degree in logistics or related field, Master’s degree preferred
8 years supply chain management experience (domestic & international) & managerial experience preferred
A successful candidate will have operational experience in transportation (international & domestic), warehousing/distribution and inventory planning 
Experience managing a large team with broad range of experiences
Adaptable and self-aware, with an ability to influence peers and senior leadership
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Strategic thinker 
Strong analytical skills makes decisions guided by functional business plans that impact the support and funding of projects, products, services and/or technology
Ability to delegate at appropriate levels within his/her team
Drive continuous improvement program in conjunctions with key partners
Manage successful relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Experience in developing and managing budgets, with P&L responsibility
Manufacturing & retail experience preferred
