DescriptionAs the Strategic Architecture Planning Director for Enterprise Architecture, Platforms and Portfolio (EAPP), you will be a part of the team based at Nike's World Headquarters responsible for developing and executing Nike long and mid-term strategies. You’ll serve as a critical thought-partner for Nike Tech and Architecture leaders around the globe who manage and support Nike's businesses – developing and executing near- and long term-architecture and platform strategies identifying how technology can create new opportunities and new value. To identify that value, Strategic Architecture Planning works alongside business, Tech and close to Enterprise Architecture leadership specifically, to define holistic strategies that combine business objectives with technology opportunities.
You'll be a trusted member of our team, driving critical transformational projects and leading our annual strategy cycles, with the following responsibilities:
Understand transformation needs based on market trends, consumer insights and technology innovation on a 3-5 year development horizon
Identify business value propositions and technology business cases in the context of EAPP’s leadership role within Technology and Nike as a whole 
Build Roadmaps to manage a portfolio of emerging, high value opportunities relating to all aspects of digital transformation within the Tech organization and beyond
Provides guidance, and support to Tech leadership and corporate strategy team with respect to goal and measurement in alignment of Tech objectives to the corporate strategy.
Work with cross-functional project teams to identify, analyze, and develop plans around critical strategic priorities
Own key strategic checkpoints, authoring 1 to 3+ year strategic and business plans, and reporting on weekly / monthly / quarterly results
Provide research and analytical support to identify, evaluate, and implement solutions for strategic priorities or critical business issues that arise
Provide thought leadership in key areas of the business, and catalyze action against these priorities
Contribute to coordination among internal resources to successfully execute high-impact, cross-functional projects
Work independently to design and lead research related to market (technology) trends, in partnership with Innovation and Architecture teams
QualificationsBachelor's Degree
MBA or advanced degree is highly preferred
Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience (3+ years' experience post-MBA) in management consulting, corporate strategy, corporate development, or a related field. In lieu of a degree an additional 3 years of experience is acceptable.
Experience in Architecture and Platform Strategy highly preferred
Expertise in retail industry and technology trends highly preferred
Experience in leading complex strategic projects
Demonstrated success in leading a methodical process of analyzing problems, gathering information, generating options, then proposing and acting on a course of action
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment
Proven ability to pull together diverse individuals with different goals and facilitate productive discussions
Strong business acumen to quickly learn new opportunities and understand how strategic architecture and platform plans can enable revenue/profit growth and/or cost reductions
Successful track record dealing with executive level professionals to drive business outcomes
