DescriptionAs our Benefits Operations Consultant for Leaves and Work life, you'll create a competitive advantage for Nike by being a Leave and Time off Programs subject matter expert.  You will partner with the Benefits COE, cross functional HR Operations teams, employees, and business partners to provide resources and guidance when complex issues arise. You will demonstrate leadership and initiative by mentoring others and using sound analysis to suggest proactive solutions to address business and employee needs. You'll respond to complex Leave and Time off program matters and identify solutions that align with Nike policy and culture. You'll approach your work proactively and in a consultative manner educating employees and managers at each touch point, enabling them to make decisions that provide a fair and consistent employment experience throughout the organization, thereby stewarding the employment and cultural brand of NIKE, Inc.
Responsibilities:
Facilitate daily operations for Leave and Work Life Operations team 
Manage complex policy exceptions and escalations
Drive stakeholder and vendor management within the region
Identify trends and insights to inform policies and practices
Lead the implementation of Leave and Time Off Policies, tools, programs and processes in the region
Partner with COEs to address risk and compliance issues and develop solutions
Qualifications
Bachelor or master’s degree in business, HR or related field
3 - 5 years’ experience in people management 
Team player with strong leadership skills. Solution driven and positive approach.
Deep experience with regulations and managing leave programs 
Ability to lead project teams from the design through implementation 
Critical thinking and strategic problem-solving skills
Well-developed verbal and written communication skills 
Ability to independently manage outside vendors in a cost effective and assertive manner
Strong ability to partner, influence key stakeholders and drive cross functional team accountability
