DescriptionAs the Senior Operations Analyst for the Nike Costing Framework (NCF) Strategy and Operations team, you will play an integral role in driving the operationalization of a new standard costing framework across the NIKE manufacturing supply chain. This role will develop a review and monitoring process for the program focused on quantitative and qualitative analysis of factory data as well as the development of key performance indicators for stakeholders. Candidates must be adept at visualizing information and delivering insights that enable fact-based decision making. We have a dynamic and diverse team tasked to manage a complex global program and are looking for a self-starter with financial acumen and experience in performance monitoring to enhance our team. Responsibilities•Create, maintain and manage standard operating procedures/data governance to support collection, management, and reporting of program data •Conduct projects/analyses to improve efficiency of data collection, annual processes, and internal operational processes that support program priorities•Prepare and distribute timely and insightful financial analysis, reporting and visualization of pertinent information to determine progress against budget, forecast, and to support internal and external financial decisions•Analyze P&L statements to reconcile monthly financial performance vs. budget•Perform financial analysis that aids in the decision-making process and improves understanding of cost drivers and opportunities•Perform analysis to evaluate new business opportunities, which include scenario and investment analysis•Conduct projects/analyses to improve efficiency of data collection, annual processes, and internal operational processes that support program priorities•Develop reporting for progress, cross-functional comparative analysis (YOY changes, trends, forecasts) and provide overarching data insights•Analyzes complex business problems and issues using data from internal and external sources to provide insight to decision-makers •Support program team with on-demand data analysis, reporting, and visualization •Other ad-hoc tasks and projects as assignedQualifications•Bachelor's degree in Business, Statistics, Economics, Corporate Finance or a related field or 3 years relevant experience in lieu of degree•Comprehensive financial and analytical skills; ability to gather information quickly and to synthesize it into actionable information•5+ years’ experience in business performance analysis and process design and/or data governance application•Ability to be an analytical thinker and problem solver; proven ability to synthesize complex processes and data into simple and compelling stories •Ability to translate quantitative analysis into practical operational recommendations•Well-organized with accuracy and sharp attention to detail•Team player is a mustPreferred qualifications include:•Advanced Excel data manipulation skills•Tableau and database knowledge •Knowledge of global sourcing and manufacturing practices NIKE, Inc. is a growth company that looks for team members to grow with it.
