We are a growing team responsible for building a holistic view of Nike’s consumers through data and analytics, and applying those insights to inform the development & growth of Nike’s digital commerce services and experiences for our consumers. 
We are looking for a world-class expert in using data & analytics to understand the consumer’s journey and their commerce experience on Nike’s digital platforms, including Nike.com, SNKRS app, the Nike app, and the Nike Running and Training Clubs, and identify opportunities & inform decision makers across Nike’s digital business.
The ideal candidate will have retail experience and a background in quantitative measurement and attribution methods, for example optimizing digital marketing campaigns based on measuring effectiveness.
Key responsibilities:Collaborate with Nike’s digital business analytics teams who focus on demand/sales analytics, web analytics and project-based analytics, to answer key questions on consumer engagement with the shopping experience.
Work on key digital analytics projects using your data mining, data wrangling, qualitative and quantitative analytics skills with an open mind for new creative solutions.
Be able to translate complex and sometimes abstract analytics problems and solutions to business leaders.
Use your story-telling skills to share your findings with leaders and peers across various formats from smaller to larger groups.
Serve as an expert in consumer knowledge and become an advocate for digital analytics across the Nike Digital organization.
QualificationsEducation:Degree in a quantitative field such as statistics, econometrics, applied math, operations research, or behavioral sciences is preferred.
Experience3-4 year’s experience executing quantitative analysis on digital apps, digital commerce, or digital marketing experiences.
Experience working for a retail company in the e-commerce space a plus.
Required SkillsExperience using analytics to understand digital consumer behavior and identify opportunities to accelerate digital growth.
Experience with web analytics applications (i.e. Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, etc.).
Fluency in SQL (Hive, Impala, or Snowflake) or similar experience in analyzing large structured and unstructured datasets.
Experience with a statistical package is a plus (i.e. R, Python, etc.).
Experience with data visualization tools is a plus (i.e. Tableau, Bokeh, Shiny, etc.).
An understanding the current digital product landscape, particularly mobile web, iOS and Android apps & data sources is a plus.
Desire to manage a complex portfolio of work in a fast moving, dynamic team & business environment.
