DescriptionIf you're the one for this role as the Senior Director Technology Portfolio Management Product Engine Solutions, Global Sourcing & Manufacturing and Demand Supply Management (PES, GSM, DSM), you will be joining the Nike Technology organization. Nike Tech brings together technology and process expertise into one streamlined, consumer and customer-oriented team. We deliver one-stop, integrated process and technology solutions that enable Nike, Inc.'s businesses and brands worldwide.The Senior Director Technology Portfolio Management (PES, GSM, DSM) is a key role in Nike Technology. This role contributes to Nike’s overall success by leading, managing and facilitating the PES, GSM, DSM portfolio and its contribution to the Nike Tech Digital and Agile Transformation. This role manages a portfolio of estimated $120M to deliver significant NPV to Nike. The team reporting into this role consists of approximately 30 staff (Nike FTEs and external staff) located in Beaverton, Oregon.Reporting directly to the VP of PES, GSM, DSM this role works with peers PES, GSM and DSM, Corporate Information Security, Tech Ops, Enterprise Architecture & Platforms and Data & Analytics. In addition, the role partners with other senior portfolio leaders across Nike Tech.As Nike Technology evolves to a more Agile (SAFe) environment the role increasingly requires the ability to define and lead significant organizational change via an Agile Transformation. A deep knowledge of IT delivery methods and organizational transformation is required.The position requires a leader with outstanding verbal and written communication skills, and a high level of energy and flexibility to thrive in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment, working closely with business and technology leadership peers.Personally, you will be a role model and influencer across the organization both directly and indirectly and a leader who exemplifies Nike's mission and values.Key Responsibilities:To make it clear, we're looking for exceptional and proven leaders. We're looking for someone special who will be instrumental in leading the PES, GSM, DSM portfolio organization by delivering on the following key areas of responsibility:Lead Lean Portfolio Management function to support PES, GSM and DSM Portfolios
Provide leadership, development and oversight to a team of approximately 30 portfolio/program management resources (Nike FTEs and external staff)
Responsible for managing a portfolio of almost $120M to deliver significant NPV to Nike
Manage portfolio investments and proactively engage the key business and technology portfolio stakeholders to ensure opportunities, risks and issues are understood and addressed. Drive monthly and quarterly portfolio financial management reporting and analysis activities
Build strong, senior and executive level internal partnerships to foster collaboration, strategic alignment and integrated planning and execution across the functions
Facilitate Portfolio Kanban, portfolio prioritization, risk and dependency management to maximize value delivery 
Drive Agile methodology for PES, GSM and DSM, and actively partner with other Technology organizations to evolve and optimize the operating model
Manage PI planning and closely coordinate with other Technology team on dependencies
Define, implement, maintain, and communicate portfolio/program management procedures and processes to enable workstreams to deliver against the defined project goals and scope on time and on budget
Facilitate portfolio governance including objective milestones and Lean-Agile budgeting
Ensure compliance with corporate governance and regulatory requirements
Define, implement and monitor portfolio metrics and KPIs to report project status and ensure ongoing strategic alignment with business objectives
Provide RTE and ScrumMaster coaching 
Provide weekly portfolio reporting/dashboard to VP of PES, GSM, DSM
Provide superior and articulate communication to all cross-functional teams, technology leadership and Executives
Contribute as a peer leader to Nike Technology

QualificationsBachelor’s Degree (Graduate degree preferred), plus a minimum 10 years of relevant experience in program management, management consulting, strategy or a related field. In lieu of a degree an additional two years of experience is acceptable 
Formal training in project or portfolio management methodologies and/or certifications
Demonstrated success in portfolio management and large scale cross-functional program delivery from strategy to execution
Proven delivery experience using Agile methodology
Proven experience in operating as a technology and business leader of a large organization
Demonstrated deep technology strategy and delivery expertise across multiple frameworks and methods
IT Budget and resource management experience
Highly trustworthy individual that manages confidential information with the utmost care and due diligence
Experience managing multi-million-dollar budgets across multiple platforms and business types
In depth understanding of portfolio metrics and KPI’s 
Strong leadership identity and executive presence
Ability to create strong relationships with key stakeholders
Demonstration of strong leadership and influencing skills
Excellent written and oral communications skills with all levels of the organization including executive level
Self-directed and comfortable working in fast faced and ambiguous environments
Experience working in a highly matrixed organization
