DescriptionThe North America Digital Brand Category Director is responsible for leading the digital strategy for an assigned category that delivers growth for Nike's North America Geography. You will provide strategic leadership for the category and develop digital briefs and marketing plans for the category's seasonal brand initiatives. This role is a crucial leadership role on the North America Digital Brand leadership team. The ideal candidate will have the ability to think strategically about digital marketing, obsess the needs of our consumer, bring others along, identify opportunities, spot trends and be excited about building the future of sport. Responsibilities include:• Lead, mentor and develop a team of digital marketing experts responsible for building and executing holistic digital marketing plans and engaging content across an assigned category• Provide strategic leadership and develop digital briefs for an assigned category's seasonal brand initiatives and special projects• Develop, implement and test new “always on” strategies to connect with consumers and drive key KPIs that improve and impact Nike's brand • Manage communication and expectations to ensure that work is delivered on time, on budget, and is always on-strategy• Collaborate with a team of experts across brand, creative, GCK, social media, innovation and business disciplines• Manage alignment across multiple organizations and functions to ensure Nike brand priorities cut through and stand out• Produce and manage performance recaps and updates as well as consistent communication to partners and the broader organization sharing and informing of the latest work• Lead and work effectively within a matrix organizationQualifications• 8-10 years of total work experience, 5 years of experience digital marketing• Strong understanding of digital marketing across key channels including organic and paid• Creative thinker who also loves making decisions with data• Highly adaptable, comfortable with ambiguity, able to operate in a fast-paced environment where lead times are short• Familiarity with the latest trends, technologies, and methodologies in digital marketing, content creation, and social media • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presentations on complex business issues, required• Collaborative; excellent relationship building skills, with the ability to secure buy-in and support when needed• Familiarity with managing and optimizing digital marketing channels to differentiate between acquisition and retention activities, minimizing cost per customer acquired while executing strategies to maximize customer lifetime value.• Nice to have: previous experience managing a digital marketing team for a multichannel retailer NIKE, Inc. is a growth company that looks for team members to grow with it.
