DescriptionAs the Product Owner Inventory Planning and Management on the DSM Technology team, you'll be responsible for delivering the Inventory Planning and Management capability to business users. The primary role of this product owner will be to represent the users of the software and ensure it aligns with their requirements by demonstrating working software at the end of each sprint cycle collaborating with Product Manager, Business Stakeholders, Other Agile Team Members, and Release Train Engineer. Responsibilities include Act as the voice of the customer and product management vision for the team
Own, maintain and prioritize the Team Backlog – break Features into stories, ensure capacity for enablers and defects
Own the delivery plan and progress to the plan (Feature Complete and Iteration Objectives) to the Product Manager
Accountable for the readiness of the work, the acceptance of the work and that the work itself is delivered within the guidelines and milestones of the Product Roadmap
As a member of the agile the team - engage in all Agile ceremonies, PI Planning, and System Demos
Prioritize and make trade-offs based on understanding of strategies, budget, epics, enabler requirements, goals and the value features and stories bring to the business
Align with ART on Agile team participation with release dates and content
Be engaged and responsive to the Agile team and help remove roadblocks and make decisions
Coordinate content dependencies with other Product Owners, define acceptance criteria, and accept or reject work results per iteration
Ensure vendor/shared service deliverables and milestones are clear - track their progress towards feature completion and adjust the team backlog accordingly
Facilitate process mapping, feature mapping w/ Personas, gap analysis, data flow to help assess business implications of feature, tool, or platform.
Conducts analysis to determine how features are performing and how they can be improved
What We're Looking ForTo make it clear, we're not looking for just anyone. We're looking for someone special, someone who had these experiences and clearly demonstrated these skills:
3-5 years of experience in business intelligence and analytics building and delivering data visualizations, reports, and dashboards that enable stakeholders to make data-driven decisions.
Advanced analysis, data manipulation and data visualization skills
Experience in Tableau and Cognos - dashboarding, custom visualizations, joining or blending multiple data sources, and level of detail calculations
Fluent in relational databases, SQL and Excel
Foundational understanding of machine learning concepts and statistics
Preferred some experience in SAP or related inventory management technology tools
Strong understanding of customer needs, business process knowledge and business and technical strategy/vision
Strong understanding of Agile development frameworks and practices
Ability to write effective user stories with clear acceptance criteria focused on business value and small enough to be complete w/in an iteration
Demonstrated understanding of technology systems and the ability to quickly learn the Nike Technology ecosystem
Strong communication, influencing, and facilitation skills
Strong working relationships with technical and creative colleagues
Strong technical acumen to understand technical system needs, architectural requirements and constraints
QualificationsBachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or another relevant business/technology field.
4+ years of professional experience in IT or business
Previous experience working as a Product Owner, Product Analyst, Business Systems Analyst, or Business Analyst type role
5+ years of additional relevant professional experience accepted in lieu of a degree
Understanding of Agile development frameworks, specifically Scrum and Kanban
