And we are looking for world-class talent like you to contribute to this journey.The Demand and Supply Management (DSM) Team is leading the journey through digital transformation, applying innovative approaches in technology, analytics, process and talent to elevate the Athlete experience and optimize revenue, profitability and cash flow. The DSM Technology team is focused on developing/deploying global, scalable and sustainable tools and capabilities across the DSM organization that deliver on Nike’s transformational objectives.As the Sr. Director of Integrated Demand and Assortment Planning (IDAP) Technology, you will be a strategic leader on the DSM Technology team accountable for driving the design, development, implementation and ongoing maintenance for key products that enable best in class Demand sensing and shaping to create a competitive advantage for Nike.ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS•Develops and leads IDAP Technology team to conceptualize, develop and deploy capabilities across Demand planning that lead to a competitive advantage for Nik including:-Bottom up planning including Assortment and Demand Planning-Top Down Merchandise Financial Planning and Location Planning•Leverages leading edge tech, analytics, process, talent and transition mgmt. approaches in a SAFe agile environment to deliver these transformational capabilities across DSM and its partner community.•Ensures enterprise-wide thinking in capabilities that align with category, geography and functional needs. Conceptualizes and develops responsive planning technical architecture and landscape to address DSM’s E2E planning requirements, in strong partnership with Nike Technology architecture.•Partners closely with the DSM COE and Analytics team to Integrate algorithmic (statistical forecasting, machine learning, deep learning) and user exception approaches to address optimal match between demand and supply in season. Evangelizes the need for the organization to move to automated (data driven) planning capabilities, with the role of the planner focused on innovation and high touch opportunities.•Assesses tools in the marketplace for fit with Nike’s goals, and leads the negotiation and co-innovation partnership with strategic vendors in this space.•Leads a large, global team of Nike Full-Time employees, consultants, and contractors to deliver on the technology vision and strategy for DSM and oversees the related multi-million $ budget.COMPETENCIES•Leadership identity•Innovation mindset•Agile learner and adopter of new solutioning approaches•Proven experience in delivering large global products in support of business strategies•Experience with agile methodologies including the Scaled Agile Framework.•Leading and influence others•Communicate effectively•Develop talent, teamwork, and diversity•Create the future•Deliver results•Leverage the matrixQualifications•Experience leading digital transformation initiatives, preferably in planning.
