DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced and collaborative software engineering manager to lead development of Nike’s Digital Product Creation applications.  This role will sit at the leadership table for a strategic technology project, partnering with the business and program teams to obsess the product design experience, knock down project barriers, make decisions, and deliver continuous value.  This role will also serve as primary technology partner for the business to evaluate and manage third party software.  The successful candidate is an inclusive leader with a history of building, coaching, and inspiring software engineering scrum teams.  Drawing from your software engineering background and web application expertise, you will drive software engineering excellence as well as best practices for front-end development.  A passion for DevOps, monitoring, automated testing, and continuous deployment is a must.Qualifications8+ years software engineering experience
2+ years in a manager or leadership role with direct reports
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, both technical and business-facing
Ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders
Solid computer science fundamentals, including algorithms and data structures
Fluent in modern software architectural principles and patterns (REST, domain-driven design, microservices, etc)
Deep front-end web application expertise (javascript, CSS, html5, Vue, React/redux, analytics tools)
Continuous Integration and automated testing experience, Continuous Deployment is a major plus
Experience deploying, monitoring, and supporting mission critical cloud applications, AWS is a plus
Successfully implemented Scrum and agile planning within a large portfolio with many scrum teams and dependencies
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering, or equivalent experience
Ability to pass a seven year background investigation
