Do you have what it takes to build a Controlling legacy at NIKE?As the Manager within NIKE’s Treasury Accounting Global Center of Excellence, you will lead the team dedicated to ensuring the complete and accurate accounting for and reporting of NIKE’s global investment portfolio, debt portfolio and associated activities. Key accountabilities include:• Managing the complete, accurate and timely execution of monthly accounting procedures, internal controls and quarterly financial reporting related to NIKE’s investment and debt portfolios; • Partnering with the Global Treasury Investment, Capital Planning and Working Capital teams to ensure Controlling’s understanding of and engagement in their processes, transactions and initiatives;• Driving consistent application of investment and debt-related accounting policies across NIKE’s operating entities;• Serving as a subject matter expert in the technical accounting areas of fair value, debt and cash and investments;• Researching, documenting and applying technical accounting standards to NIKE’s investment and debt-related transactions; and• Managing the design, testing, and implementation/upgrade efforts associated with treasury accounting systems of record.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field • CPA required• 5 years of relevant experience preferably with a combination of Big 4 Public and industry employment• Ability to identify, research, and resolve accounting issues • Proven ability to develop influential and collaborative relationships across teams, functions and layers • Treasury and/or Fair Value Accounting experience is preferred • Experience with complex transactions in a large, multinational consumer products company is highly preferred• High standards for quality and attention to detail • Strong proficiency with Excel, Outlook and Word • SAP experience is a plus • Proven ability to handle multiple, competing priorities and requests • Strong communication and presentation skills • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment • Ability to pass a 7 year background check NIKE, Inc. is a growth company that looks for team members to grow with it.
