DescriptionWill define and communicate requirements for technical environments and determine technical scope for software application projects.Will provide technical estimates and project budgets. Will approve proof of concept efforts and analyze related test results. Will enforce system’s architectural direction and ensure consistent technical approach between global, geography and territory deliverables. Will develop advanced reporting solutions, including complex reports, dashboards, cubes, and active reports. Will design and develop analytical tools leveraging Tableau and Excel. Will lead the execution and consolidation of all reporting deliverables. Will utilize global and geographies dashboards and standard reports to create executive level views of marketplace performance. Will utilize ad hoc environment in the global reporting package to highlight country, channel, door, and product performance. Will lead and manage the territory in-take process to identify where additional customized reporting is required and partner with geographies for standardization. Will partner with cross-functional teams and leadership to understand key metrics and drivers and provide visibility, specifically highlighting trends and gaps to plan. Will identify risks and opportunities in the marketplace and make recommendations to integrated marketplace leadership and planning teams at key intervals. Will support strategic meetings and enable the cross-functional teams with accurate, reliable and actionable data. Will lead and direct virtual teams to achieve stated analytics goals and objectives. Will drive individual performance and ensure data and reporting quality meets geographies and global standards. Will collect, analyze and report management data to support decisions on day-to-day operations, strategic planning and specific business performance issues. Will collate, model, interpret and analyze data. Will explain variance and trends. Will identify and document enhancements to modeling techniques. Will define tools and processes to support overall organizational excellence in program and project management and process definition. Will build data visualizations and executive level dashboards to be leveraged by business leadership and business analysts to gain insights on successes and opportunities. Will evolve the existing landscape of reporting and propel critical information needs through robust business and data comprehension and cross-functional partnership across product and functional teams. Will advance the landscape of existing reporting to new reporting tools. Will build and manage the distribution of push reporting. Will work with engineers to communicate the data architecture required for dashboard design. Will work with Tableau, relational database development, SQL and web-based application development. Will develop complex reporting solutions with the Cognos and Tableau tool suite (Report Studio, Workspace Advanced, Analysis Studio, and Event Studio). Will work with HTML, PHP, Javascript, and coding. Will engage in ten percent domestic and international travel. Will supervise three to five subordinates. QualificationsEducation: Master’s degree in computer science, information systems, information technology, or business. Experience: seven years of experience data analytics, information technology and business management. Skills/Requirementsfour years of experience in the following skill sets: (1) reporting solutions, including Cognos and Tableau, (2) database architecture, (3) insights delivery, (4) databases, including Teradata, Snowflake, SQL Server, Oracle, and MySQL, (5) building data visualization, and (6) software development, including coding and developing web based applications.
