DescriptionOur vision is to transform the way we plan our product lines and assortments at Nike. Over the last several seasons, we have revamped our strategy to ensure we can better react to changing consumer behaviors in the marketplace, while also establishing more collaborative decision-making that reduces volatility in our product creation and assortment planning processes. We are on the right trajectory to maintain the industry standard, however our ultimate north star is to define a best-in-class capability that creates a lasting competitive advantage.As Sr. Director of Line and Assortment Planning Capability, you will define and execute a cross-functional vision for all process and tools used for product line and assortment planning for the Nike Brand. This role will require you to obsess over the user experience for our design, product and merchandising teams and define a multi-year roadmap for the ecosystem of software applications that are required to execute our seasonal workload. In this effort, you will work across business, analytics and technology teams, at Global and Geo levels, to create best in class tools delivering efficiency and speed. The primary accountability of your position will be to develop the Product Roadmap, set requirements and manage the implementation for all digital tools used for line and assortment planning. Based on this roadmap, you will need to work with business and operations partners to execute any process and behavioral changes required capture the most value from the tools being developed. You will manage multiple teams that will be responsible for specific processes, applications and zones of business. You will also need to work cross-functionally to ensure the vision and roadmap are complimentary to capabilities being developed within our partner organizations. Qualifications•Bachelor's Degree plus 10+ years' relevant experience or MBA and 5+ years' experience•Experience in developing product, merchandising and planning capabilities•Experience with the BI and line planning applications•Strong analytical knowledge and understanding•Proven experience in project management•UX Design or Data Visualization experience preferred•Must excel working in team-oriented roles that rely on ability to collaborate with others•Able to lead cross-functional work and influence senior level stakeholders•Able to respond to and prioritize changing demands•Strong oral and written communication skills NIKE, Inc. is a growth company that looks for team members to grow with it.
