As our Production Supervisor, you'll oversee department production in an effort to meet daily requirements and business goals and pursue continuous process improvements. You'll provide staff leadership, coaching, skill development and conduct performance reviews. You'll also ensure quality and production standards; pursue continuous process improvements that encourage an active role from work teams; schedule and monitor employee attendance; and complete appropriate payroll reports. In addition, you'll develop, perform, and set-up training functions in order to build strong work teams and enhance employee skills and knowledge. 
QualificationsQualifications• Associates degree in Manufacturing or a related field and minimum of 5 years' experience in a high- volume manufacturing environment•2 years additional related experience in lieu of a degree• Working knowledge of LEAN Manufacturing principles required• Experience in a supervisory or lead role is highly desired• Previous experience in plastic injection molding a plus• Physical ability to maneuver on production floor to include standing, talking, hearing, feeling, reaching, pushing, pulling, climbing, standing, and sitting• Vision requirements ranging from clarity of vision at 20 inches or less to 20 feet or more with a field of vision to see up to down and left to right while on a fixed point• Able to identify and distinguish colors• Able to handle moderate physical demand, including lifting no more than 70 lbs by hand and utilizing a hoist to lift heavy objects occasionally• Strong written and verbal communication skills with all levels of an organization from one-on-one to formal presentations• Ability to create a positive, diverse work team is strongly preferred• Knowledge of the technical aspects of plastic manufacturing is preferred• Previous experience working with temporary workers is preferred• Previous experience managing projects is preferred
