Procurement Analyst Rotational Program:
We are looking for an impact-driven Analyst who will join the Global Procurement team. You will join our Global Procurement analyst rotational program with exposure to all elements of our Procurement organization – materials, manufacturing equipment, supply chain and our indirect categories such as Technology, Services, Brand and Marketplace, as well as others. You will partner with directors and managers to drive impact in each of these areas.
As part of the analyst program, you will be trained in and deploy our Procurement Framework, including sourcing strategy, sourcing execution and supplier relationship management. For a specific material category, you’ll jointly identify the opportunity and sourcing strategy to capture that opportunity. The sourcing strategy will be based on overall Nike and Global Procurement objectives, supply market dynamics and rigorous TCO analytics. You will work with the team to execute the TCO strategy using the 7-Step Strategic Sourcing Process which includes: stage gates, spend analysis, requirements planning, risk management, market analysis, strategy development, competitive bidding (RFx), supplier negotiations, supplier selection, contracting, supplier management, cost savings methodology, performance reporting, and proficiency with sourcing tools. You will also have the opportunity to get exposed to Analytics, Procurement Operations, Strategy and Performance Management throughout the program.
As you progress through the analyst program, you will master many different capabilities to aid you in building an amazing foundation for your Nike career. Additionally, you will be provided experiences to grow, develop, learn about different parts of operations and make an impact on the Nike Brand.
QualificationsBachelor’s degree or equivalent
0-2 years work experience & Analytical background (Finance, Engineering, etc.)
Strong Excel, math, and cost modeling skills (finance, engineering) strongly preferred
Ability to comb through large amounts of data, analyze, draw conclusions, and present a coherent viewpoint
Evidence of entrepreneurial spirit, leadership positions, and ambition
Business coursework and database/coding experience preferred
Project management abilities
Ability to deal with ambiguity, creative problem solver & want to get their “hands dirty”
Able to think on their feet and articulate problems well
Passion for the Nike Inc. Brand
Previous experience or coursework focused on procurement, operations, supply chain, or finance
Track-record of demonstrating in entrepreneurial spirit in fast-paced environment
General financial skills/knowledge
