DescriptionAs our Global Benefits Manager, you will be part of the Benefits Center of Excellence (COE) team within Nike’s Total Rewards HR function. You will bring broad-based benefits expertise in service of the Global HR and Total Rewards Strategy. You will manage Nike’s global insured risk programs in partnership with our external vendors and internal teams. You will also champion a global governance strategy to be maintained in strengthening program alignment. This will include the development of a sustainable global severance program framework. Key Responsibilities:Partner with Global Risk & Treasury to manage Nike’s Benefits Captive•Benefit programs aligned with Business Strategy and Values Based Design•Global Fronting Insurer selection and management•Annual plan placement and underwriting decisions•Ongoing Vendor ManagementGlobal Program Governance•In partnership with Global Practice Directors, develop and execute Global Benefits governance strategy•Create and maintain Global Benefits Committee•Facilitate Benefits Committee meetings including providing an initial overview and recommendation for all issues coming before the committee.•Monitor ongoing compliance with policies and guidelines•Identify and bring awareness to strategic program misalignmentCreate documentation and framework for Global Severance Program•Set overall severance framework and global minimum guidelines in alignment with Nike values and market best practice•Inventory and document current practice•Set framework for severance calculations considering global floor and local statutory requirements•Identify and implement best-practice tools to capture and document global severance program•Assess Transition Management needs and define plan•Stakeholder ManagementQualifications•Bachelor’s degree in Business, HR or related field or an additional 2 years’ experience in lieu of a degree •Understanding of general HR principles and policies with a strong technical knowledge in Total Rewards programs •A minimum of 5 years’ related experience in benefits strategy & vendor management•Must have deep expertise in at least 2-3 technical areas of benefits, but with a breadth of knowledge of all benefit programs •Strong financial acumen, analytical, problem solving, and conceptual skills •Advanced communication skills to navigate internal stakeholder management, effectively influence others, cross-functional team interactions, inter-team dynamics and strong external vendor management•Self-Starter with ability to take initiative, set direction and achieve results •Demonstrated ability to work flexibly with varied and multiple cultures, countries, regulatory, and market environments with a holistic global view of programs across geographies and across total rewards •Ability to envision change and assess impacts on: consumer engagement/experience, financial environment, risk, current tools, practice and processes •Ability to travel, occasionally, including internationally NIKE, Inc. is a growth company that looks for team members to grow with it.
