We bring together technology and process expertise to deliver scalable and reliable technology solutions that enable the design and development of Nike, Inc.’s core Planning products.Scope & Responsibilities:•Manage existing ‘Change and Release Management’ processes while mitigating the risk to Business operations. •Collaborate with Enterprise Release Management, Global Change Management, Engineering Tech Leads and Product owners to evolve Change and Release management practices to drive DevOps adoption•Ensure a predictable Production Environment by managing risk and impact of change through the DSM Release and Change management practice•Support deployment for several development groups delivering software continuously to staging, QA and production environments. •Create and ensure standardized methods are implemented for the efficient handling of change and deployment of applications across a number of platforms and technologies.•Work closely with Business to ensure the Release Management and cutover activities are communicated and understood•Orchestrate taking software from source control, CI/CD systems, and binary repositories and building systems to automate the deployment of software to infrastructure with a minimum amount of release-related downtime. •Lead the transition of manual deployment processes to automated processes by institutionalizing core DevOps practicesQualifications•Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field•8-10 years of experience in information systems operations environment in systems analysis or development. High familiarity with modern Change and Release management practices•3+ years experience working in DevOps space, particularly transitioning teams from manual deployment processes to automated •Automation background in multiple scripting languages•Experience in a modern cloud platforms / large scale distributed systems•Experience working with revision control systems including Git•Experience with Ansible, Puppet, Chef or similar Configuration Management tools is a plus.•Cloud automation experience with Terraform, CloudFormation or similar is a plus.•Hands on experience with delivering and managing solutions on AWS, Azure and/or GCP is a plus.•Experience in languages like Golang, Python, Ruby, Javascript, Java, Scala or Node.js is a plus.•Production experience with containers, container runtimes (i.e. Kubernetes), and/or serverless technologies is a plus.•Proven track record of having ability to communicate with both Business and Technology teams.•Demonstrated ability to coordinate cross-functional work teams toward task completion•Experience working in a matrix organization in a role that influences change though leadership•Demonstrated effective leadership and analytical skills•Advanced written and verbal communication skills are a must•Desire to learn and continually improve self and others though knowledge sharing•Ability to work in Ambiguity NIKE, Inc. is a growth company that looks for team members to grow with it.
