DescriptionAs Logistics Manager for Nike’s Latin Partners Distributor business you'll manage operations for our Latin Partners territory; part of Nike’s Asia Pacific and Latin America (APLA) Geography. You'll develop strategic priorities for logistics operations, and execute projects supporting them. You'll forecast and budget supply chain operations and support our distributors by managing the efficient and timely flow of inventory into their network. You'll roll out new processes and tools that elevate the inbound network. You'll provide process innovation which will require participation in various internal Nike networks (procurement, finance, operations, etc.). Working closely with Nike’s Latin Partner business leadership, in addition to other functional and cross-functional teams will utilize your leadership and influencing skills to drive the business forward. You will lead a small team of Logistics Analysts in this role. Qualifications•Bachelor's degree and logistics experience of 5-7 years•Logistics experience of 7-10 years' in lieu of Bachelor's Degree•Experience in large DC operations required•Experience in leading LEAN logistics efforts preferred•Knowledge of engineering & design aspects of DCs•Experience with WMS (Manhattan Associates) will be added advantage•Experience working for or dealing with 3PLs, freight forwarders•Excellent negotiation, communication and influencing skills•Excel and SAP knowledge will be added advantage•Ability to work diverse cultures and non-traditional hours•Ability to manage multiple competing priorities•15-20% travel to Central and South America•Spanish language proficiency will be added advantageWe're interested in learning more about you and appreciate you taking the time to apply online.Nike, Inc. is an equal opportunity employer (EOE) that strives to create a diverse workforce and an inclusive culture.
