DescriptionOur mission is to “Partner to Win” – leveraging our partners to unlock the CDO and achieve the triple-double – and it hinges on one of our core procurement values: “Partnership: Create an ecosystem of external partners to be a competitive advantage for Nike”As our Senior Director of Supply Chain and Manufacturing Procurement, you will be responsible for leading the elevation of our global strategic engagement with our Supply Chain and Manufacturing Equipment partners (tier 2+), including:• Elevating External Partnership:Leadership - Primary leadership point for our key partners, serving as the primary facilitator of vendor engagement with other Nike functions;
Strategy – in partnership with WHQ Global Operations & Logistics and Manufacturing Revolution teams; inform and operationalize network, sourcing and vendor strategies;
Delivery and Performance – Manage the E2E lifecycle of supply chain and equipment vendors, including: onboarding, compliance, regular business reviews, vendor balanced scorecard, performance issue resolution;
Negotiations – Lead regular negotiations in partnership with Global Logistics and Operations teams to deliver price productivity, speed increases and capability elevation;
Data Integrity – Work with Nike GOaL and Tech initiative leaders and supply chain partners to ensure data integrity (e.g. Inventory management/visibility, Front-End commerce platform integration);
• Elevating Internal Partnerships with the following teams to ensure a seamless Nike offense:Manufacturing Revolution & Manufacturing Innovation offense to ensure that we are appropriately supporting our manufacturing strategy and engaging with our manufacturing partners through the new offense;
AirMI to ensure that we are able to support manufacturing volumes and increase supply chain network flexibility
GOaL to ensure that we have the appropriate partners, capabilities and network roadmap to support our 2X speed offense
•Lead and elevate an outstanding Supply Chain and Manufacturing procurement team across our Asia and European office• Serve as a member of the Global Procurement leadership team, participating in our overall mission and strategic initiatives;Keys to success are the ability to: work as a selfless collaborator across Global Procurement and our internal partners (e.g. GSM, GOaL, Finance), partner with our external vendors to elevate our ecosystem, lead a team across multiple locations, and clearly and compellingly communicate our strategy with internal and external partners. Ability to distill complex information into relevant actionable insights is a requirement.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Math or a related field; MBA/Masters degree preferred
Deep experience with supply chain, equipment/capital procurement, vendor management or related roles
Experience leading and inspiring teams across multiple locations
Strong project management capabilities to manage multiple project streams and complexity; propensity for thinking through projects in a process-oriented way required
Must be flexible, adaptable and resourceful and be comfortable working in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment
Demonstrated ability to use fact-based insights to influence decision making
Analytically strong, detail oriented with strong organizational skills
Strong written and verbal communicator with a demonstrated ability to network, influence and inspire
