DescriptionWith ambitious long-term growth targets, NIKE, Inc.’s success hinges on new product innovations, operational excellence and fostering a workplace that can unleash the creativity and potential of all employees. To help achieve these goals, Nike formed the Workplace Design and Connectivity (WD+C) function, which is leading the transformation of the workplace experience through a focus on physical location, space, services, and connectivity solutions.
The WD+C team is leveraging systems, design thinking, and key partnerships across the Nike organizational matrix and with key external industry experts to bring Nike to the forefront of new ways of working.
As the WD+C Finance Director; you’ll be responsible for:
Facilitating a robust performance management and reporting process throughout the fiscal year to ensure we deliver against our financial commitments and can dynamically re-allocate resources as necessary
Partner with functional leadership to develop long term strategic plans as part of the corporate planning cycle
Work closely with a diverse Global Operations & Technology finance team to ensure spend is adequately prioritized across the broader portfolio
Providing clear visibility to the capital investments we plan to make across the portfolio, as well as the ongoing operational costs of managing physical space and services for our workplace environments
Working closely with the controlling function to ensure the appropriate application of our accounting policies as we make prioritized investments in our corporate real estate and services
Overseeing the funding model– balancing a center-led strategy with the need to keep business partners aligned around optimizing investment against our most important corporate goals
You’ll need to be comfortable with ambiguity and have the ability to influence executive leadership with clear and concise fact-based analysis to drive action. As a people manager you will need to be able to set a vision and prioritize deliverables across a complex body of work. And most importantly, you should be excited about the opportunity to make a significant impact and help transform the workplace at NIKE. 
QualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or business related-field; CPA and/or MBA preferred.
10 years' experience in financial planning and analysis, accounting, and/or corporate strategy. An advanced degree or CPA designation is acceptable in lieu of 2 years’ experience.
5 years of experience working for a multinational consumer products company. Experience in Real Estate and/or Construction is a plus.
5 years of people management and team development experience
Exposure to accounting and finance systems preferred (SAP, Oracle, Hyperion, or COGNOS)
Excellent knowledge of forecasting, budgeting, investment analysis and strategic planning concepts.
Extensive experience in creating and managing multi-year investment cases.
Ability to exercise high degree of professionalism and comfort engaging at an executive level including advanced presentation skills.
Advanced level of proficiency using MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
