DescriptionThe Global Services Procurement Director is a key member of the global NIKE Procurement team, dedicated to revolutionizing how the world’s leading sports brand does business with its external suppliers and partners.  This critical role will assume responsibility for leading a global team to source and manage our worldwide services spend category portfolio. This portfolio consists of consulting services, professional services, HR services (benefits, relocation, etc…), facilities, construction + design, travel, meetings + events, food and fitness.  You will be a part of the Procurement extended leadership team and play a key role partnering with leadership teams across NIKE. You will lead a team responsible for helping to bringing Nike’s contingent labor strategy to life to enable the consumer direct offense and delivering a frictionless experience to each employee by leveraging tools and technology.  You will plan with Stakeholders to set targets and align priorities for the Global Services Procurement team.  You will develop Global strategies based on overall procurement objectives, industry dynamics, and NIKE priorities.  You'll work in conjunction with teams throughout the world to identify value-generating opportunities.  You'll spearhead global negotiations and drive for an optimized value proposition for the brand.  You'll drive your sourcing strategy through an analytical, data-driven category-anchored approach, with a balanced understanding of what the brand and business needs.  You'll identify and finalize target savings for your category while managing and fostering key relationships with both internal and external customers - and track and manage global team performance.
This position also requires a high-energy, self-motivated, and dynamic individual with strong analytical skills, deep insight to the retail industry, strong ability to manage multiple senior stakeholders, lead and manage a global team, and excellent written and verbal communication.
Qualifications8 years' relevant work experience in Professional Services, Retail Strategy, Procurement, Strategic Sourcing and/or Category Management
2 years' management experience
Experience at a leading retail organization that serves consumers through brick and mortar as well as online tools.  
MBA or advanced degree is preferred
CPM or internationally accredited procurement qualification preferred
Global perspective and experience in sourcing and procurement processes, supply base and best practices
Experience in spend management practices such as demand management, compliance management, supplier collaboration and/or performance management
Superior communications, interpersonal and presentation skills, with strong influencing and persuasive talents
Experience working cross culturally
Experience of communicating procurement strategies and vendor performance to business owners
Understanding of cost savings approaches
Retail category sourcing expertise; Store Development, Store Operations, Digital, Retail Marketing
Project management skills
Strong leadership, influencing and communication skills gained across a range of cultural environments
Demonstrated experience consulting with business partners, including independently identifying business partner needs, developing action plans, identifying deliverables, and presenting results
