DescriptionIn this role you will lead a pod of 4-7 developers in building cloud based data services. These services are in high demand and used internally to power business functions. The team is co located and performing well.DUTIES •Design, develop, maintain, and support cloud solutions for Nike Technology capabilities.•Drive best practices, design patterns, and reference implementations for enterprise cloud solutions. •Review/merge pull requests from team members. •Apply DevOps expertise to develop CI/CD pipelines.•Perform application support and issue resolution with internal and external resources. Determine options for issue resolution and risk mitigation. •Liaise with software vendors to ensure that code, configuration requirements and deliverables are met. •Enforce architecture, governance, security, and global process standards to system changes and deployments. •Review other teams' integration needs and designs, approve proof-of-concept efforts and review results.•Enforce the Nike Technology architectural direction to ensure that a consistent technical approach is utilized within the department. •Review and enforce performance thresholds and standards.QualificationsEducation: Bachelor or Masters degree in Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, Computer Applications, or closely related field (foreign equivalent accepted)ANDExperience: 3 years' post-baccalaureate progressive experience as a Tech lead supporting more then 3 developers.SKILLS REQUIREDMust have 3-5 years of proven experience with•Java•AWS Services •Junit •Spring•REST Web services •Agile methodologiesMust have 1-2 years of proven experience with•Jira or Version One•Jenkins•Splunk/New Relic•Ruby/CucumberNice to have skills•Python•Javascript NODE.js NIKE, Inc. is a growth company that looks for team members to grow with it.
