DescriptionAs the Field Representative for the Elite Youth Sports Marketing Basketball team you will support high impact project areas in all aspects of basketball sports marketing business. You’ll look to identify areas to improve operational performance to enhance competitive positioning, while implementing growth strategies for the Elite Youth Basketball team. You’ll also identify unmet and emerging basketball sports marketing needs across NIKE and Jordan, and create improvement strategies for the identified needs.Key Responsibilities:Create and implement a recruitment and retention strategy for Elite Youth athletes
Manage and schedule home visits with athletes and families
Provide leadership guidance to athletes as the grassroots landscape continues to evolve
Lead the integrated marketing management process across functions all Elite Youth events and JBC
Create and develop media and digital strategy for EYB events. Manage necessary associated agencies
Procure, manage and support EYB sponsorship opportunities
Create and manage a rookie transition program providing invaluable support with key athletes, families and basketball influencers
Create a standardized process for recruiting and on-boarding athletes
Work with existing partners and sponsors to provide opportunities and platforms for NIKE Basketball and Jordan Brand athletes
Sports marketing lead for “young gun” athlete business. Working with cross functional partners including brand, product and digital
Provide creative quality control for all pro deliverables and activations
QualificationsRequired:Bachelor's degree in related discipline
5+ years’ experience in Sports Marketing developing and leveraging key relationships, demonstrating the ability conceive/create new ideas about innovated sports marketing working relationships
2 additional years of experience required in lieu of a degree
Extensive knowledge of the Grassroots Basketball landscape and how it relates to the NCAA and NBA
Excellent verbal and written communication skills including presentations with MS Office
Ability to travel up to 50% of the time
Preferred:Familiarity with the brand marketing and sports marketing functions at NIKE 
Proficient in SAP and Excel
True passion, understanding and interest in grassroots, collegiate and professional basketball 
Ability to handle multiple time sensitive (both macro and micro) priorities
