DescriptionNIKE Global Treasury designs, implements, and communicates the risk mitigation strategies and funding mechanisms needed to make the world's largest sports brand run faster, smarter, and more securely. We leverage internal and external relationships to ensure that NIKE is poised to achieve growth initiatives, working alongside business partners to ensure effective foreign exchange risk management, global liquidity, and capital planning, as well as develop poignant presentations and insightful commentary to provide a forward-looking view of macroeconomic conditions. Leading with a global focus, the team covers global foreign exchange, cash and banking, capital planning, trade finance operations, process and solutions, and risk finance and claims. NIKE Global Treasury brings together strategy, macroeconomic perspectives, and process excellence to create value for the consumer. We deliver risk mitigation strategies, funding solutions, and planning capabilities that enable NIKE, Inc.'s businesses and brands worldwide.

As the Treasury Director – Global Cash & Banking you will lead the Global Cash & Banking team with operations in the US, Netherlands and Singapore. The person selected for this role will be expected to provide significant Treasury expertise and will serve as a key business partner for Senior Leadership Teams across Europe and Asia.

The Treasury Director will manage the following responsibilities as a leader within the Global Cash & Banking function:

RESPONSIBILITIES
Create a vision for the future and lead with a global mindset, playing a key role in developing and implementing our functional strategies and articulating these to the team
Play an integral role in shaping the Global Cash Management function of the future, leveraging innovation within and across the function
Elevate functional capabilities to pace with market shifts in products and technology, banking regulations, macroeconomics, and political environment
Demonstrate thought leadership and technological awareness by leading transformational initiatives for the function to evolve Cash Management infrastructure and global workflows
Participate in the design, development, and implementation of a new ERP
Identify opportunities to automate processes and streamline operational activities in response to business model shifts
Build and maintain banking relationships, delivering value to key business units and stakeholders
Identify and implement optimal banking structures and liquidity solutions
Lead, Coach, Drive and Inspire an international team – capitalizing on the strengths of our multicultural work force, creating a positive work environment that facilitates personal accountability and teamwork
Educate stakeholders on all relevant Treasury policies and procedures
Support NIKE’s strategic imperatives and initiatives of other functions
Promote a trusting and transparent working environment
QualificationsBachelor or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or other business-related field; MBA degree preferred.  Advanced level certifications such as ACCA, ACT, CIMA, CFA, CPA, or CTP are desirable
Over 8 years of experience working in Corporate Treasury, Finance, or Accounting at a publicly traded multinational company, with at least 2 years of experience at the Director level
Over 5 years of leadership experience, with global and virtual team leadership preferred. Must be proficient in championing and embracing change, influencing others, contributing Treasury expertise, and acting with integrity.
Significant experience directing the resolution of complex business issues
Experience with technological / systems implementation
Comfortable working in ambiguous and quickly changing business environments
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create and deliver presentations to Senior Leadership.
Excellent problem solving, critical thinking and analytical skills with a keen ability to communicate complex concepts to wide and diverse audiences
Highly skilled in developing high profile, influential and collaborative relationships across teams, functions, and geographies
Experience with SAP is preferred
Retail experience is desirable
Ability to handle multiple and competing priorities
