We are looking for a talented Operations Manager to join a team that has recently been established to drive speed to market and scale for sustainable advanced innovation initiatives, amplifying their impact to the business. This role requires program management expertise and the ability to efficiently and effectively manage several complex tracks of work. The ideal candidate for this role will come from a program management, finance, or operations background. Key Responsibilities- Determine each program’s critical path activities, dependencies, milestones and make-or-break assumptions - Identify the operational and organizational challenges that the programs will encounter at various phases and work with the appropriate leadership and stakeholders to resolve - Identify opportunities to accelerate programs through problem solving- Apply best-in-class tools and methods of delivering programs successfully while continually looking for ways to improve and streamline processes - Create and manage program metrics in support of status reporting and dashboards- Coordinate with Costing and Finance teams to build accurate financial models and conduct a business impact analysis for each product launch- Support program budget creation, management and reporting- Communicate with leadership and stakeholders on program status and cost variances- Schedule meetings, manage agendas, build presentations and facilitate discussions with internal and external stakeholders- Capture meeting minutes with clear actions, owners, and follow-up on due dates and decisionsQualifications- Bachelor's degree in business, science, engineering or a related field; MBA is a plus- 5 years project/program management experience with complex programs that require managing multiple stakeholders; PMP certification is a plus- Strong attention to detail, proven ability to organize, prioritize and deliver outcomes - Comfortable working in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment- Highly flexible, able to quickly adapt to changing priorities- Budget and cost management experience- Excellent verbal, written communication and collaboration skills to effectively communicate with both business and technical audiences- Capable of synthesizing and representing complex information into clear, refined messages - Direct experience in the innovation space and developing new technologies is a plus- Nike, Inc. knowledge and established credibility within the business is a plus NIKE, Inc. is a growth company that looks for team members to grow with it.
