DescriptionAs the Human Resources Manager for the Finance and Strategy function, you’ll provide human resources expertise and consulting to Finance and Strategy employees and business leaders to deliver our Team & Talent strategy in support of the functional plan.  You will be accountable for working with employees at all levels on HR programs, practices, and policies to drive key business results. Ideally you will have experience supporting a global function and be comfortable and capable of supporting leaders at the VP and Sr. Director levels with diverse teams.  You will support the Finance & Strategy HRBP team and work closely with key Center of Excellence (COE) partners to gather employee and marketplace insights, data, and trends, which you will use to recommend solutions and actions that will contribute to organizational health and the achievement of business objectives. You will utilize a variety of methods to ensure you have a strong presence in the function that yields a pulse on strengths, opportunities, and the overall health of the function. You’ll participate in key business planning and talent planning sessions to assess talent and develop strategies to address development needs, gaps, and risks. You will play a key role in developing and/or executing strategies and interventions requiring organizational design, employee relations, leadership, and team development, change management, performance management, compliance, and overall engagement.

Key accountabilities include:

COACHING, CONSULTING, ORGANIZATIONAL DEVELOPMENT/HUMAN RESOURCE PLANNING: Partner with managers to develop human resource strategies that effectively address business needs. Contribute to the content and execution of the Human Resource Planning process and diversity initiatives. Provide coaching to managers and employees regarding issues such as job design/success profiles, organizational structure, managing change and team building processes. RECRUITMENT/SELECTION: Partner with Talent Acquisition in the development of a recruitment strategy which delivers the right candidates with the right skills and at the right time.  PERFORMANCE MANAGEMENT/EMPLOYEE RELATIONS: Coach leaders, managers and employees to translate strategy in to personal objectives and success outcomes, which are managed via formal and informal review. Help managers address performance issues through appropriate corrective action, and steps to maintain a positive working environment.  TALENT MANAGEMENT: Work in conjunction with the Global Talent Management group to manage talent via career development paths, succession and development planning. Help identify and address both macro development needs, and coach high-potential employees on their individual development plans.  REWARDS, RECOGNITION AND SALARY ADMINISTRATION: Provide education to managers regarding compensation philosophy and practices. Implement compensation programs and reward systems that incorporate both individual and team results.  OPERATIONAL EXCELLENCE/LIAISON TO HR SHARED SERVICES: Assist in updating/maintaining accurate employee data, produce reports, and analyze data. Partner and negotiate with Nike HR shared services departments to determine best approach to meet department and employee needs.  MOBILITY SERVICES: Partner with global mobility/global compensation and the business to ensure a smooth transition of global talent across multiple territories
QualificationsBachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or related field
5 years’ experience in HR
2 years’ experience in lieu of a degree
Prefer start up, growth organization and enterprise level experience
Experience with Talent Planning, Training and Development, and Organizational Development
Ability to be flexible and adapt with change
Strong communication skills
High level of discretion to confidential material you will be handling
