DescriptionWill analyze financial reports, trends, and opportunities related to business opportunities, investments, financial projects, and financial programs in Beaverton, OR. Will provide input into business unit planning, budgeting, performance targets, and policy development. Will participate in functional discussions and initiatives across departments. Will utilize internal and external partnerships that leverage resources and enhance business group effectiveness. Will support investor relations and the Chief Financial Officer to achieve consistency in internal and external financial assessments. Will manage and prepare timely and insightful financial analysis of pertinent information to determine progress against strategic plans, budgets, forecasts, and to support external financial decisions. Will interpret and review financial results with business managers, including trends, issues, and opportunities to drive actionable responses. Will ensure senior management is educated on the use and interpretation of financial reports and metrics. Will lead analysis that aids in the decision making process and helps improve profitability as well as on new business opportunities, including scenario and investment analysis. Will identify and partner with management to identify opportunities for profitability enhancement. Will monitor that working capital is efficiently and effectively being used with a specific focus on inventory and accounts receivable. Will develop and monitor metrics focused on profit and loss, balance sheets, and free cash flow, including CACC and ROIC. Will work with teams to establish key measures for business strategies that are consistent with the division’s long-term financial models. Will lead the development of budgets and action plans across fields of play and assure the delivery of financial objectives that are consistent with the strategic plan. Will lead the Financial Planning team’s support of the Controlling team’s ultimate responsibility for the integrity of the financial statements from both a management and statutory perspective and compliance with US GAAP by reviewing and validating work performed by Performance Management in their financial statements reviews. Will co-lead with Region Controllers the implementation, documentation, and maintenance of corporate and region accounting policies and procedures. Will work with Corporate Audit and the Region Controlling team to recommend, monitor, and implement improvements to internal controls. Will have three to five direct subordinates. Will engage in 15 percent domestic and international travel. QualificationsEducation: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting or Finance. Experience: three years of financial management experience Skills/Requirements: three years of experience in the following skill sets : (1) developing and analyzing financial strategic priorities in a retail environment, (2) leading the review of financial data, (3) establishing long-term financial plans for business success, (4) evaluating different business models to determine an appropriate and efficient model to operate from, (5) ensuring strong financial performance that are aligned with corporate goals including managing overheads, financial teams, and determining tax plans, and (6) delivering financial insights and reports to senior leadership teams.
