DescriptionThe Finance and Strategy function at Nike, Inc. works with our most senior executives to define and create the future of our businesses and the broader market. As part of our Global Business Planning team, you will provide finance thought leadership to drive and enable our Nike, Inc. enterprise strategy and functional priorities. You will lead the SG&A Finance function and be responsible for managing end-to-end SG&A planning & analysis, delivering strategic insights on corporate and organizational planning initiatives and developing frameworks to facilitate key investment prioritization decisions. As such, you’ll work with finance teams across the organization to provide clear financial direction, create alignment and develop plans that will deliver on our strategic and financial goals. Your team will also serve as primary business partner to our EVP Global Human Resources and EVP CAO & General Counsel. That partnership will be leveraged to drive enterprise initiatives and build business plans for NIKE’s Human Capital and Enterprise Risk Management investments. The SG&A Finance team also plays a critical role in delivering on our long-term financial model and how we optimize investment planning through tools, processes and prioritization frameworks.IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL:Lead the central SG&A financial planning team, including end-to-end planning processes / deliverables
Manage the planning required to support corporate strategy reviews, annual operating plans, budgets and in-year management
Refine and evolve our long-term financial model principals and strategic investment framework
Oversee the Corporate Functions finance team and foster strong relationships with senior leaders
Collaborate cross-functionally to facilitate corporate level investment planning and prioritization decisions
Lead a team of 7-8 high potential talent
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree, MBA or advanced degree is highly preferred
Minimum 8 years’ total experience in financial/strategic planning, investment management, accounting, management consulting or related fields
Experience supporting C-Suite level management
Financial/Quantitative Analysis: Demonstrated ability to complete quantitative and qualitative analysis and financial modeling; corporate organizational and/or strategic investment planning preferred
Project Management: Effectively plan and tightly manage the scope and lifecycle of a key planning deliverable while balancing multiple constituencies
Team Leadership: Proven ability to lead and coach a diverse, world-class team that is empowered to bring the best of themselves to work every day
Excellent written, oral communication and presentation skills
Strong cross-functional collaboration skills required
Advanced level proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
