They manage accounting and reporting for Nike’s multi-billion-dollar global investment portfolio, debt and equity instruments, and other Treasury activities. DescriptionWill work across large scale operational initiatives in product creation, costing, logistics, and operations to consult and advise as to business requirements and architecture to enable and ensure financial statement accuracy and effective internal controls. Will enable and support cross functional teams in the development and execution of the controlling operating model, and end-to-end process excellence across global direct transaction streams. Will drive an effective and efficient internal control structure, particularly as it relates to product costing, and inventory reporting. Will work with business teams to advise on the technical accounting and control implications of business decisions including embedded leases, variable interest entity considerations, inventory, and cost of goods sold. Will navigate the global matrix in the development and implementation of standardized end-to-end transactional processes, controls, policies and measurable key performance indicators. Will launch and coordinate initiatives to recommend process improvements and track initiatives designed to support and improve end-to-end processes and related controls by leading, empowering and developing global virtual teams. Will manage the coordination of a complex operational and legal entity structure and work closely with cross-functional counterparts to inform processes to handle new transaction streams. Will serve within the Finance and Controlling organization to develop, embrace and deliver best practices. Will leverage data and digital visualization of information to assist in the optimization of the deployment of inventory. Will establish global policies and deploy and enhance cycle counting and inventory validation processes. Will travel domestically and internationally 30 percent or less. QualificationsEducation Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Information Systems, Business, or Analytics. Experience: five years of experience in accounting or information systems. Skills/Requirements: 1 year of experience in the following: (1) data analytics, including root cause analysis and predictive analysis, (2) data visualization and storyboarding, (3) ensuring operational excellence and financial statement accuracy through developing internal controls, (4) SAP for information system analytics, and (5) data visualization software with Tableau, Spotfire, or Microsoft BI.
