DescriptionAs our Content Authoring Sr. Manager, you’ll be responsible for driving North America Content Authoring across Nike’s suite of digital channels. In addition to being a crucial driver of the digital experience, you will work closely with the broader Digital, Brand and Operations teams to create best in class tools, workflows, and processes that will support a seamless, authentic Nike shopping and brand experience.  You’ll manage a team of content authors focused on building and publishing content across multiple digital channels.  You will also ensure that projects are launched on time and follow all the necessary stakeholder checkpoints and approvals. You will work closely with Global teams to align best practices, and the analytics team to monitor, provide insights and opportunities for optimization of tools, processes and digital content.
Responsibilities include (but not limited to):Team management of content authors and traffic manager. and publishing
Being the operational expert for content publishing for multiple Nike digital experiences across brand and commerce
Creating and managing authoring resource plans; ensure all publishing needs are covered and assigned to the appropriate talent
Aligning and supporting all partners in the content space (Business team, Digital Brand, Merchandising, Consumer Services, Analytics, etc.)
Directing regular communication and alignment to drive a universal user experience, execute strategy and align with current/upcoming initiatives.
Driving seasonal/weekly projects with cross-functional teams to ensure content delivery timelines are met
Aligning with broader operations team to execute cross-channel initiatives
Being knowledgeable in content publishing roadmap to drive business/operational requirements for technical updates to the tools used to support and publish content.
QualificationsBachelor's degree, preferably in Business or Communications.
A minimum of 5 years' experience as a Digital Producer, Content Manager, or Project Manager in a corporate setting
Experience in Content Management Systems
Experience leading a team of 10+
Strong verbal and written communication skills, including meeting facilitation and presentations
Ability to clearly articulate goals and objectives
Strong understanding of digital, commerce and internet concepts, user experience best practices and technology jargon
Ability to work in a constantly changing environment and make operational calls as necessary, knowing when to escalate issues to management  
Ability to work independently and cooperatively in a diverse group
Be available at odd hours to support specific initiative-, product- or category-related content
