The Global Community Impact (GCI) team fulfills this mission through a sports-led community portfolio that engages our internal teams, partners, organizations, experts and others to move the world and get kids active. Today, the world is moving less and less, and this generation of children is the least physically active ever. Leveraging our resources and ability to inspire, our team engages the Nike footprint, employees, consumers and the world to shift the paradigm of physical inactivity.Working with the Sr. Director of Portfolio, Strategy, and Operations and the Director of Strategic Planning, the Strategic Planning Intern will undertake a handful of initiatives over the summer to embed current tools and processes, articulate GCI’s value to Nike and getting kids active, as well as propose a model to assess and articulate the value of our work internally and externally.Research, aggregate, refine and propose an accepted model for deriving the value of GCI’s work both internally and externally, for individual programs and for the global portfolio.
Design and implement a scorecard (preferably in Tableau) that will help articulate our progress against KPIs, initially for internal use but ultimately for board level consumption. 
Create a GCI Strategic Planning playbook to embed the processes, discipline, and operational excellence from our current calendar and tools. The outcome should help ensure that progress made in the past 3 years is not hindered by turnover or other externalities.
Help with other strategic planning priorities and initiatives as needed.
QualificationsCurrently enrolled in a Master's program with an expected graduation date of Winter 2019 or Spring 2020
Demonstrated ability to structure problems, apply sound qualitative and quantitative analysis, and package conclusions and recommendations through compelling communications.
Previous business operations / consulting background in helping clients design roadmaps to bridge from strategy to execution is highly preferred.
Analytical skills with experience designing and implementing scorecards, standardized reporting tools, and KPIs. 
Ability to simplify the complex and communicate to senior members of GCI staff. 
Experience in the use of tools such as Keynote, Powerpoint, and Tableau.
Demonstrated ability to manage and prioritize against multiple priorities, delivering with high quality and exceptional attention to detail.
Outstanding written and verbal communicator.
