In Digital Product Creation Technology we deliver solutions to enable product excellence and speed. As Technical Product Manager for our Innovation Platform, you will work closely with our business partners to ensure that our data-intensive digital sports research solutions fuel Nike’s product innovation. You will also be an integral part of our technical product management team, ensuring that our software engineering teams understand the business problems to be solved and that our solutions meet business needs. Additionally, this role is responsible for the technical roadmap and representing technical priorities.
The successful candidate is an inclusive leader with an established track record of driving complex software development projects and managing the work for a team with multiple business priorities and stakeholders. Also critical is a proven ability to build trust with both business and tech partners. To be able to drive and deliver technical solutions, they must additionally have a solid technical background including cloud architecture, APIs, and DevOps practices.
Qualifications8+ years software product development experience in software engineering, architecture, and/or product management roles
2+ years driving technical solution designs through to delivery, either directly or indirectly via technical partners
2+ years driving complex software projects to completion, including prioritization, estimation, trade-offs, feature definition
Experience with Scrum and agile planning (SAFe is a plus) within a large portfolio with many scrum teams and dependencies, including user story authoring, acceptance criteria definition, and backlog grooming.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including technical and business-facing, and ability to communicate to stakeholders
Experience working with or on software development in a DevOps model, continuous deployment experience is a plus
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, similar field, or equivalent experience
Ability to pass a seven year background investigation
