DescriptionAs an Automation Reference Architect at Nike you will be responsible for shaping our technology landscape for today and tomorrow. You will lead high profile, high impact, initiatives that define how we as a company enable our business through technology. Nike is in the middle of its digital transformation, faced with a series of new, complex and exciting challenges. In your role as a Reference Architect you will serve as a trail blazer, but you won’t be alone. Working with individuals and teams from across the enterprise, together we will create relevant and innovative solutions.As an Automation Reference Architect, you will be responsible for creating, socializing, and driving Technology Strategies that describe the ripple effect technology decisions have across all major initiatives at Nike.ResponsibilitiesDefine and maintain the Automation landscape and roadmap for Nike
Create Technology Strategies that shape how and why we solution in the Automation space
Socialize and align with key stakeholders for technology components and strategies
Lead interdisciplinary teams to define, assess, and build solutions that result in reusable patterns and practices across the enterprise
Publish and maintain Reference Architectures and Reference Implementations
RequirementsPassion for technology and solving interesting challenges
Proven problem solver and pragmatic thinker
Strong leadership, confidence, and influencing skills
Current knowledge of industry best practices
Proven track record of translating business requirements into end-to-end solutions
Exceptional collaboration and active listening with strong communication skills both written and verbal
Ability to facilitate technology strategy, requirements, and architecture conversations with all stakeholders of varying technical depth
Highly motivate self-starter who thrives in an ever-changing, fast-paced environment that requires adaptability
5+ years of cloud or distributed computing experience
5+ years building large scale multi-user platforms
Experience in one or more areas: Business Process Modeling, RPA, Writing Bots, Workflow or Autonomous System Recovery
Qualifications
10+ years of experience in a lead development or architecture role(s)
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or engineering focused degree or equivalent work experience
Nice To HaveLarge enterprise experience including global experience with solution delivery
Experience in system orchestration, infrastructure as code, configuration as code
Experience with streaming technologies, data capture, and data processing
Experience in IoT, Digital Twin, Chaos Engineering
Experience with HMI platforms
