DescriptionAs the Materials Buyer, you will be responsible for executing various activities for Air Manufacturing Innovation within our Purchasing team.

Key responsibilities include:

Purchasing of routine, non-discretionary materials and supplies
Process work orders
Data Entry
Advising business on delivery timelines
Complete PEGA (purchasing requisitioning tool) orders
Sourcing new parts for equipment
Interface with supply base at Air MI
Coordinate the return of rejected or unsuitable orders as well as respond to requests for purchasing data
Clearly and concisely communicate current processes, issues encountered and ideas
Ownership for deliverables and communicate quickly if something may impact timing of those deliverables
Document standard operating procedures
Drive continuous improvement for purchasing related activities
QualificationsBachelor’s degree or equivalent
Purchasing/Procurement experience
Prior experience in manufacturing environment
Experience in SAP or equivalent MRP system
Strong Excel skills
Strong communication and collaboration skills
