DescriptionWe’re looking for someone with a passion for sport, teamwork, and finance to join our team. As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will help lead forecasting, reporting, and financial analysis for Nike’s direct-to-consumer business in the North America geography. As a critical part of Nike’s Consumer Direct Offense strategy, this is a great opportunity to contribute to the future of Nike.
Essential Job Functions
Help lead monthly, quarterly, and annual planning, forecasting, close, and reporting processes
Own and manage financial forecast and reporting models, templates, and consolidation across NA Direct Finance team. Execute forecast and budget system loads.
Prepare, validate, and distribute period-end financial reporting results, commentary, and presentations
Prepare and communicate finance calendar and deadliness across finance team. Collaborate to clearly articulate and ensure execution of deliverables and expectations
Perform ad hoc financial analysis projects, leveraging financial expertise, understanding of data sources, and knowledge of business performance and strategies
Generate information and ensure data quality for use in analysis and decision-making processes
Partner with Global and other finance teams to communicate and understand financial results
Forecast, report, and manage expenses for assigned cost centers
Advise business leaders and other team members on the best way to access required information using a variety of systems and tools
Relentlessly seek to improve financial processes, reports, and tools to maximize effectiveness and value
QualificationsExcellent knowledge of forecasting, budgeting, reporting, financial analysis and strategic planning concepts
Understanding of financial statements, general ledger structures, and basic accounting principles (US GAAP)
Very strong attention to detail and accuracy
Advanced Excel proficiency. Experience building complex Excel models and utilizing advanced formulas, pivot tables, queries, etc.
Experience developing quantitative and qualitative analysis. Ability to build clear, logical models and presentations and succinctly communicate methodologies and conclusions.
PowerPoint proficient. Experience with storytelling concepts and building integrated PowerPoint slide presentations for executive presentation
Experience presenting financial analysis and conclusions to senior leadership
Comfort with and passion for data. Experience generating insightful analysis from complex, ambiguous data sources.
Ability to simplify the complex and balance details with big picture
Experience with ERP systems preferred (SAP, Oracle)
Experience with other finance/business software a plus – BPC, TM1, Business Objects, Tableau, Essbase, Anaplan, S4/Hana etc.

Education & experience:3-5 years’ experience in corporate financial planning and analysis, public accounting, investment banking, and/or consulting
Experience with multinational, consumer products or retail industries a plus
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or business related-field
Professional certification (CPA, CFA, etc.) and/or advanced degree (MBA) a plus
