DescriptionAs our Employee Communications Manager you will oversee the communications strategy for the Asia Pacific & Latin America (APLA) geography. Your focus is to elevate APLA’s narrative and storytelling while engaging and inspiring our employees at WHQ and across the territories in partnership with the territory communications teams. An effective candidate will also be asked to develop and cultivate key relationships internally with multiple business partners, and work well in a cross-functional, cross-geographical and cross-categorical matrix organizational structure. You'll be responsible for developing strategies to engage APLA employees using traditional and digital platforms with a focus on creative and compelling storytelling. This person will also create plans to engage our employees in seasonal brand initiatives to connect them more closely to sport. Responsibilities:
Define and develop integrated communication strategies, messaging and tactics to amplify the APLA strategy, messaging and stories and engage, inspire and inform employees
Develop creative solutions that elevate our internal storytelling and take it to new places, experiences and inspire employees
Create executive messaging and provide tactical leadership communication support, managing all approval processes
Oversee storytelling, energy and engagement for employees for key brand initiatives
Provide end-to-end all-employee meeting and events support including event logistics and planning, content creation, presentation design, scripting and pre- and post-event communications
Plan and implement employee events, and Brand or sporting events
Work with Sports Marketing for Athlete engagements
Oversee communications tactics across print, video and online channels
Write and edit content for quarterly earnings emails, brand recaps, presentations, and videos
Coordinate all communications timelines and deliverables ?
Measure communications effectiveness through qualitative and quantitative methods
Oversee communications budgets and resource needs ?
Develop meaningful relationships with marketing team members, territory comms teams and business stakeholders
Explore new channels and ways of communication to connect with employees across the Geo
Collaborate with Global Employee Communication and key internal partners and stakeholders
QualificationsBachelor's degree in Journalism, English, Design, Communications, Business, Sport Management, or related discipline
5+ year experience in high profile Corporate Communications, Brand Communications or Event Management role supporting globally branded organizations, either in agency or in-house
2 additional years of experience required in lieu of a degree
Ability to develop communications that engage across multiple platforms (i.e., mobile, intranet, video, long-form features, digital newsletters, event postings, script writing, presentations, etc.)
Ability to understand challenges or underlying concerns, share ideas, and develop effective responses, or elevate to higher management
Excellent writing and strategic planning skills combined with a sense of urgency, flexibility, and attention to detail
Experience planning employee events
